We purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher with the "fan-enabled ProDry system." The store was very helpful with finding us the best dishwasher for our needs (quiet, dries dishes thoroughly) at the best price. They matched the best price in town for the exact same product and helped us secure the manufacturer rebate. Then they scheduled the delivery promptly once the dishwasher arrived in town. When they unpacked the dishwasher at our house, it had a small dent. Since the dent was on the back and appeared to be cosmetic only, they said we could wait for another dishwasher or receive a small cash discount $75). Nice to have that option. Once the dishwasher was installed the store was very helpful with customer service. For the first couple of weeks we were not convinced that the dishwasher functioned properly because the dishes were not dry, even with enabling the fan option. But it turns out that there is a film (invisible) on the plastic racks inside of new dishwashers, and it just took a couple of weeks of regular use to rinse away that film. Since then, the dishwasher has worked great -- very quiet and dry. The racks move so smoothly on the rollers compared to other brands. We appreciate how patient the store was with us and how they were even willing to schedule a complimentary visit from a KitchenAid repair specialist to make sure the dishwasher was functioning properly. We didn't need that service call, though; once we ran the dishwasher about 10 times everything was much drier. This local business is awesome and has won our loyalty. (After 6 weeks of waiting for a local "big box store" to deliver our new dishwasher--they tried twice, and both times the machine came out of Kansas City damaged--we became frustrated, especially when they suggested we accept a dented dishwasher for a bit off the price.) We decided to 'bite the bullet' and shop local, expecting to pay a higher price. We were greatly surprised and impressed when we walked in the door and immediately discovered a long row of competitively priced dishwashers. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable and made us glad we hadn't gone with the sale machine we'd originally ordered with a plastic basket inside. (Who knew?) We ordered it on a Saturday, and they delivered it on the following Wednesday, hauling off our old machine at the time. We are very pleased with the dishwasher and no longer have doubts about buying appliances locally. In my opinion very poor customer service. Bought a Samsung washer and dryer right before covid. When they brought the washer and dryer out to set it up they dragged mud into the house, up the stairs and into the laundry area. Never said a word about the mud. Scratched both the washer and dryer installing them. Due to covid I waited a few months to take them the lint basket to see what could be done with it as it is very hard to open to clean it. I was told I should have brought it in earlier but could not due to covid restrictions. Was given a business card with an 800 number on it to call to purchase a new one. One year later we decided to unstack our washer and dryer and put them on pedastals. Found the dryer was missing all four feet as they had been removed for the stacking. Called the store and they did not know what the installers did with the feet but was given an 800 number to call to purchase new ones at my expense. $62 later out of my pocket I received new feet. They do not care about you...
