I ordered on my app and went to pick up last night, 12/9/22 around 6pm from your location in Manhattan, KS, (66502). When I arrived, my order wasn't ready and there was a backed up line of customers who were also being made to wait because their orders weren't ready. It was explained that there was an unexpected unusually large order ahead of mine and that they were running behind. I am writing because the woman running the front counter needs recognition. I am telling you right now, she was a ROCKSTAR. Although the store was full of waiting, inconvenienced people, she made sure to continually check in with each one and give them updates on their order. She made small talk, chatting, offering alternative options to the ones in a hurry. She was smiling and friendly the entire time. This is what struck me about her. Someone working in the food industry, on an unusually busy weekend evening, was able to manage an entire room of frustrated customers. She exhibited nothing but calm, patience, and understanding. And seemed HAPPY to be working. It is very rare nowadays to find this kind of service in a take-out pizza joint. I'm telling you that NOT ONE customer who walked in there left appearing less than completely pleased. I am very disappointed that I didn't get her name before I walked out with my order. I'm hoping you can get that information from the manager, and I really hope that this worker will get recognized for the complete asset she is to your company. If it helps to figure out who she is, my order...
Read moreI work in the service industry, and there are 3 standards you never sink below, even on your worst day. Those are, greeting the customer, giving them their total, and, most importantly, saying, "thank you." I do this all day long. It doesn't matter if your job sucks, you still thank the customer. Tonight I visited your location and was not greeted, but made to feel like I was infringing on the time of the pudgy, surly, pale and bearded unpleasant millennial tending the register. I made a simple purchase, a hot-n-ready pepperoni to go. Upon handing over my hard-earned cash (made more poignant, having just come from the plasma donation center), so, more accurately, after handing over my BLOOD MONEY, I accepted the pizza thrusted at me and said, "thank you" to the punk behind the counter, as is my habit. He responded with a grunted, "yup." Yup. Like he did me some kind of favor. I just gave my money and my business to the establishment that makes his job possible, and he's going to treat me like I owe him something? Screw that! Simple politeness and decency are not too much to ask for when offering a business one's patronage. Anything above and beyond the 3 basics are just good customer service, but at the very least I should ALWAYS get a "Hello," my total, and a...
Read moreThe pizza is as good as it always has been but this business has just gone down the drain. They never have any food ready. They complain about short staffing but i doubt they are honestly trying to hire or offering anything that would bring anyone in. I ordered food and they told me it would be 30 minutes so I waited and then when I went in the manager/owner got an attitude with me and it wasn't ready for an additional 40 minutes. And im not sure who the old lady is, either manager or franchise owner, but she needs to not work at the store at ALL. She catches an attitude with customer and talks down to them. It's not worth it at all to go back to this store until she's gone honestly
02/Dec/23 Edit This store is still straight garbage. Random walk in times and youre met with a 30 minute wait. The SAME person owns this place and still glares at customers when they walk in and is just an all around nasty person. I mostly feel sorry for anyone who can't find a better job. Wish this place was close instead of all the good places...
