Chens Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Manhattan

Not only the worst Chinese Restaurant in Manhattan, but the worst restaurant PERIOD. We ordered delivery on a Friday evening. After receiving a confirmation that our order had been received, we waited for nearly an hour with no sign of the delivery person. We called, and the person who answered informed us that online ordering had been glitchy that night and our order was not received until well after it had been placed, but don't worry - the delivery person has just left with our food.

We live about 5-7 min down the road from the restaurant. So 20 min later when our food still hadn't arrived, we called again. We were again informed our food was on its way. Apparently the delivery person had 4-5 different deliveries to make on this run. Delivery finally showed up 95 MINUTES after we had ordered and, if the person at the restaurant is to be believed about the timeline, our food had been sitting in the delivery car for over 40 minutes. Even for a busy Friday night, that kind of time is outrageous.

No offer to discount our meal, no apologies for the very late arrival. I will NEVER eat here again and do not recommend the cold, mediocre...

Take this ad a ZERO star rating, terrible service. Messed up my order called to have them correct it like any other restaurant would have but apparently the drive to CORRECT their error was too much of a hassle for them. I would not recommend them to anyone, I work at the mhk ap and not many places delivery here do guess who is not getting recommendations for our customers. I was obviously not a value to them because they agreed, the manager Kevin, to have my food delivered the next day which it wasn't. Also the girl who answered the phone is no help. I ordered online and they told me that's why it go messed up, shouldn't matter what so ever if you read the order fully, especially since my receipt says the correct info. Do not say you deliver to a certain distance if you feel you can't driver "that far" again to CORRECT your mistakes. Also this restaurant is by dillions on Anderson, yes there is construction going on but that's not my problem. Please save yourself the hassle and do not go here. I still expect a fix. Please expect to see this review on every website that I can put this on regarding...

Very impressed with the portion sizes. It was a lot of food, but unfortunately I forgot the pictures of sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice. The bowl of soup was like 3x a normal bowl; however, neither of us cared for it. Besides that, everything was delicious.

The price was very reasonable for the portion and flavor we got. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Something I wasn't happy with was that we entered and sat ourselves as the sign says. No one came over. An employee was sitting down looking at us from the other side of the restaurant and an employee right behind us. I get that they're eating, though one was just talking on the phone, but they can't holler that we are waiting almost 10 minutes for help? I went to the counter asking if we can order when the man told us to sit down and I told him.. well, that's what we were doing lol. He came over and was super nice and helped us, but everyone was just sitting around relaxing and eating meanwhile we are just waiting and waiting.
