What a great little museum! Lots of interesting exhibits about early life in Manhattan and the people who made it real. I wish a few were better marked, but the variety of information - farming, hospital, daily-life, etc. It really can't be beat. One of my favorites was the hair-wreath and the explanation of why it came to be. Pioneers had a very different viewpoint of death and the care they took to preserve the memory of their loved ones...

Read moreIts an amazing place to visit and get the tour!!! Of the founders house its very eye opening and cool to just see how things were back then. Most of the furniture was kept up and is still there to this day. Its amazing the guide is amazing. Thinking about going again. The state wants to tear it down like they did bluemont university the original k-state...
