My parents and I have always been customers of Rummele's. The shop and all of their associates have always been wonderful to deal with. I especially need to commend Steve. On two separate occasions I have dealt with him. The first time was to try to find valuation information about a bracelet my father bought my mother a number of years ago. He researched it and was able to find the purchase information for me. The second time was to find the value of a ring which belonged to my grandmother for possible sale. Though he did not wish to purchase it for the store, he did provide me with an estimate, and further, sent it to not one but two of his vendors to try to get an offer on it for me. He essentially saved my Christmas for me as I receive SSDI and until the point of sale did not have the funds to buy my family gifts for the holiday. He truly went above and beyond to assist me and get me a fair sale price from his vendor. Not only did he get a fair price, but had a check readg for me the very next day. I was referred to Rummele’s by a family member after several other jewelers in the state where I lived mangled the repair of a watch that was gifted to me from a treasured business mentor. My case was complex both because of the mischievously unsuccessful jerry-rigging of the initial jewelers and the model year of the timepiece. Even the watchmakers at the company headquarters in Switzerland rendered it irreparable after belaboring over it for two months. Dismayed, I contacted the owners at Rummele’s in the final hopes of salvaging this meaningful professional keepsake. Although the task was arduous, they spiritedly accepted this challenge and offered their promise to a commitment in leaving no stone unturned. With the upmost precision, they picked up the fractured remains left over from the previous jewelers and intricately pieced my watch back together like new! I recently found my grandmother's pearl earrings and her wedding ring, along with my great grandmother's wedding rings in an heirloom box. I don't have pierced ears and the rings were very tiny. However, I wanted to preserve the stones and have something wearable to honor their memories. I took all three items to Rummele's and explain the history and sentimentality of the items. The pearls were not exactly the same size, nor were the diamonds in the rings. However, the staff at Rummele's seemed to truly understand and appreciate what my goal was. They put much effort in sourcing a white gold pendant that would accommodate the stones, and then basically custom made this piece using the pendant as a base. The jeweler and goldsmith and did a phenomenal job and gave me a fabulous price as well. I couldn't be more pleased with the final product, and I've already received many compliments on it.
