Disclaimer: This review is based solely on my experiences alone. This is in no way meant to offend, or discourage anyone. Let’s jump right into it. I love Pulp Comics. I randomly popped in there a while back and immediately felt drawn to it. Staff has typically been wonderful toward me when I go in. Comics have come a long way with inclusion. I mean the “modern” comic book started in like the 1930’s, obviously you get what I’m saying. I didn’t see a lot of myself in many of them. So coming back to find all these cool series at Pulp, has been wonderful for me. Pulp is somewhere that I don’t mind spending a few extra dollars here and there. Staff, again, has been most wonderful and knowledgeable. They have a new space now -that has even more room than where they were. If you’re a fan of games such as D&D and MTG, they have nights where people can come together and play. They offer $1 comics, which I find fascinating. I find something catches my eye each time I’m in there. So give Pulp a try. You don’t have to know a lot about comics, you’ll find good help, and most of the time you’ll find a bargain. 5 stars for Pulp Comics and Games from me. Thank you and God bless❤️‍🩹

I love Pulp! I used to go there quite frequently when I lived there a couple of years ago before they moved to their new location at 731 S. Front St. It was nice to see that they have expanded their gaming area, and amount of merchandise. It was nice that they had enough room to game in, move around in and to converse with others. I'm eager to go back and make some purchases, but I had a limited amount of time to shop while I was there. It was nice to be back in town and to create a nice new memory! Way to go Pulp!

Awesome shop with wonderful customer service. They have a great selection of comic books and collectables for a variety of budgets. My four year old came with his first birthday money to make his first purchase, and not only did he find a Batmobile, staff members took the time to find an affordable Batman to go inside!

An unusually friendly and helpful shop with a lot of Comics, collectible toys, Dungeons and Dragons figures/dice/manuals, popular board games, and CCG card-game collectibles.

They currently have a lot of Magic players (most players favor Modern Format, but they have a Commander night and now a cheap Standard tourney on Thursdays that is casual/beginner friendly). Their prices on rare M:tG cards have proven better than anywhere else nearby, but their selection of premium cards on the wall goes up and down a lot in size.

They sell bottled water and snacks for cheap, so they clearly care about player comfort.

Their new location allows plenty of room for all the very big DnD groups. I think they might be so popular for this that you have to speak with them and plan well to get a slot on certain nights. They really have that many passionate players.

Thursday Standard-format and Friday Night Magic (modern) have good chairs in a big room with good lighting. Though the spacing needs work, as it is hard to get in and out of the rows on crowded nights.

Saturday is the board game group which never seems to be playing the same old game twice. They look like they could use more players, so if you're a bored nerdy college kid this place could be your haven.

Friendly owner (I believe there are technically two, I could be wrong) whom I see looks out for the little guys/gals, but can geek-speak with the best of them. He plays tournaments himself.

They are a GLBT friendly atmosphere from what I've consistently seen.

They are very open and clear about pricing for both buying and selling, so I think they are an honest place to sell large card collections to. I know they used to buy a lot of everything, but sports cards I...

My boyfriend and I are Mankato transplants attending MSU. We were in search of an awesome Comic store to support in the area, and Pulp has been above and beyond that. The customer service is always 10/10. Employees and the owner are so super friendly and helpful at finding what we are looking for. Prices are super reasonable, and I can always find a gift for just about anywhere here. Their loyalty program is awesome and keeps us coming back. This is by far one of my favorite comic stores I’ve ever been in, and I’m so grateful that it’s so close to home. The dollar book section in the back is the absolute best, and there are always plenty of gems to find. We love you Pulp!! :)
