Mankato Civic Center Grand Hall — Attraction in Mankato

It's an ok venue to see a concert here. Probably the best things about this place are the abundance of free parking nearby and the bathrooms: these are spacious and there are a lot of them just off of the grand hall. I really wish they had done a better job designing the hall and stage so that it didn't feel like a concrete box. I had some tickets to see Linda Eder and they were floor seats. This was first time at the Grand Hall. It is a nice place and Linda did a good job singing. What got me was how they packed you in like sardines and have you sit on hard plastic chairs for a concert. I won these tickets so I can't complain about the price. It did leave a bad impression on me because I wouldn't want to spend my money to see someone perform and sit on a hard plastic chair rubbing shoulders to the person...
