Maplewood Community Pool — Attraction in Maplewood

I rarely leave reviews.. but I must say the pool is very refreshing and clean. My family and I are new to the town and I must say our first trip to the pool was great. While enjoying the views and laughter of the families play, one child went under water after sliding down the water slide!! I WAS SCARED!! (being that a close family friend daughter passed by drowning at the beginning of the summer).but when I say this is the very first time I have seen ALLLLLLLL LIFEGUARDS SPRING IN TO ACTION AND RUN, JUMP OVER THINGS ALL TOGETHER IN SYNC WAS AMAZING.. ONE WAS SCREAMING SAYING " SLIDE, SLIDE".. I LOVE HOW THEY WERE ALL QUICK TO REACT AND SAVE THE LITTLE CHILD LIFE... GREAT JOB TO ALL WHOM WAS APART OF THIS. 👏 KEEP UP...

I believe from the 5 years I been living in Maplewood. I have paid tax dollars donations and being involved in anything that my little one do…it’s about the community and I totally support the diversity and ethic… so it doesn’t matter at that pacific time that family can’t afford a membership but they are still a resident with resources.. hmm respect comes along way. My daughter wanted to go to the pool, I thought it was like NY, where you pay $13-20 to Enter if your not a Member, Mapplewood NJ was a different story, they asked me to pay $400 To be a member to get access to the pool, i was so Disappointed to tell my daughter 7year old she can't go inside, the sadness on her face when I told her no, let's do something else. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING, BECAUSE THEY'LL NEVER ANSWER. I WISH I KNEW BEFORE I WASTED A TRIP...
