Family Cards and Games — Attraction in Margate

Friendly and knowledgable staff always awaits me at Family Cards and Games. I came in months ago to play Dungeons and Dragons, and fell in love with the location. I learned how to play and collect Pokémon from Greg, and now play in Thursday and Sunday weekly tournaments with fun players. I learned about Hot Wheels collecting, and race others every Sunday on the track from Larry. We all have a lot of fun and root for our favorite cars.

The Dungeons and Dragons game is Friday night, and we just raided a dragons lair. We will collect our loot at the next game.

My experience is one of absolutely enjoyment every time I walk in the door. I don’t know about Bey Blades or Lorcana YET, but those tournaments are next on my list. There is literally too much for me to do in a week there. The prices are good, the snacks are fun and cool, and I can always seem to find what I want. And when I CAN’T, they can find it for me. So it’s always beneficial to ask and not be shy.

Too much to do, something new every week on the shelves, and there just aren’t enough days in the week. I’m writing this now at 5 on a Saturday. I have been here for four hours. The time flew by on my day off, and I’m leaving with a bag of cool collectibles and a bucket list...

We recently visited this place for a birthday party, and I can't say enough good things about it. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, fun, and family-friendly. The party itself was a blast — the kids had an amazing time, and the adults enjoyed themselves just as much. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having fun. They're incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. What really stood out is that they'll teach you how to play any of the games they have in the store—for free! That made it so much easier to jump into something new and exciting without feeling overwhelmed.

We had such a great experience during the party that we decided to come back on our own just a few days later. It’s quickly become one of our favorite spots. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the variety of games, toys, and activities available. My kids ended up with so many cool items, and they’re already asking when we can go back again. It’s rare to find a place that feels both safe and genuinely fun for all ages.

Title: Disappointing Experience at TCG Miami

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share our experience at TCG Miami, specifically regarding Family Cards and Games. We were excited for a fun day of trading card games, but it quickly turned into a nightmare.

My son was enjoying himself, participating in games and interacting with other players when suddenly he was accused of stealing a One Piece treasure box. This accusation not only shocked us but also humiliated my son in front of his peers. He is a respectful and honest child, and to have him treated as a thief was completely unwarranted and distressing.

The staff at Family Cards and Games handled the situation poorly. Instead of investigating the matter professionally, they jumped to conclusions, which left my son feeling upset and discouraged. The atmosphere turned from one of excitement to one of tension, ruining what should have been a memorable day.

I hope they can improve their communication and handling of such situations in the future. No child should ever feel accused or embarrassed, especially in a place meant for fun and camaraderie. I cannot recommend Family Cards and Games based on...
