I was planning to purchase an item that I saw online unfortunately, I arrived late as they were about to close. I offered to pay in advance, before seeing the product in person so that I could make sure to buy it but they assured me it was not a problem and that the item would remain on hold.

I understand that this type of business operates on a first-come, first-served basis. However, when a business tells a customer that they will hold something, the customer expects that commitment to be honored. It’s disappointing when that trust is broken.

I’m not leaving a 1-star review because, as a business owner myself, I can see they have a strong reputation with mostly positive reviews. Damaging their 4.9 rating over this situation isn’t my goal, but I do think it’s something they should take into account. Value Pawn 2950 N. St. Rd.7 have some well trained managers and employees. They are also patient because they deal with alot of people that come in the store angry, so eventually they have to be patient while the customers curse them out and yell at them. But the store manager Juanita usually steps in and try to calm the situation down by handling the situation at a professional level. I've been going to all the Value Pawn Stores for many years and since I met Juanita, her attitude towards people in general never change. She is always professional, patient, respectful to all individuals. These are the characteristics that I love about her and this is what keep me as a faithful and loyal customer. I never had a problem with this pawn shop until today today I sent my son to pawn my electric scooter soon as he walked in the door the young lady tells him that they do not accept scooters which is a total lie because I have pawn that same electric scooter at this pawn shop My only problem is if you're an employee you're not sure if you take electric scooters why not confirm it with the manager or a supervisor if you do you completely turned him away knowing that you do accept electric scooters I will no longer pawn anything at this pawn shop anymore Oakland Park value pawn Wilton Manors is the best and I will return back to them to do business..
