I was planning to purchase an item that I saw online unfortunately, I arrived late as they were about to close. I offered to pay in advance, before seeing the product in person so that I could make sure to buy it but they assured me it was not a problem and that the item would remain on hold.

I understand that this type of business operates on a first-come, first-served basis. However, when a business tells a customer that they will hold something, the customer expects that commitment to be honored. It’s disappointing when that trust is broken.

I’m not leaving a 1-star review because, as a business owner myself, I can see they have a strong reputation with mostly positive reviews. Value Pawn 2950 N. St. Rd.7 have some well trained managers and employees. They are also patient because they deal with alot of people that come in the store angry, so eventually they have to be patient while the customers curse them out and yell at them. But the store manager Juanita usually steps in and try to calm the situation down by handling the situation at a professional level. I've been going to all the Value Pawn Stores for many years and since I met Juanita, her attitude towards people in general never change.
