GRACE OF GOD RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Margate

I ordered food from here on 6/2/2022 and when i got the food I'm not sure if it was the Doordash person who manhandled my food, but it looked sloppy and i only got two piece of meat.??? No sauce . As far as i can see from these pictures they look well placed .... as for the food I had to throw it away... I didn't call them and tell them what had happen, because i think the Doordash person ate from it... I am trying it again today 6/16/2022 and I will post if this was My Doordash person or if it was them … I'm ordering Ragout (Stew Cow Foot and rice and bean with a side of mac and cheese. Again,.... the same exact food from before and i will let you know how this food came to me.

ok... it is now 3:20pm Ok my food is here .... it was the Doordash person... This good looks well placed and there was sauce with more pieces of meat.

Now Im going to taste it.. three spoons in .....

1st time coming to this restaurant and I was impressed. The decor was nice, it was very clean, and customer service was great. And of course, the food was really good. Reminded me of my mom's cooking. Keep up the good work and service 👏🏾. Update: So, there's a new owner and the restaurant is now called Grace of God restaurant. The food is no longer good, the black beans is watery, the rice doesn't have much flavor, the meat and plantain doesn't taste fresh at all. I ordered a legume with white rice and black beans complete and I was extremely disappointed, my 2nd order was tassot (goat) with rice and beans complete, and that wasn't any better because the meat was room temperature. They claim that the meat is cooked to order, that's obviously a lie. Everything cost $47 and that was such a waste of money, smh. The atmosphere also changed, it used to look nice and modern and smelled good, not anymore. I used to really like this place and I'm so disappointed that the owner and chef changed. I won't be coming...

Used to love this place especially when it was the older husband and wife that handled the place. Last time I ordered from DoorDash for pick up and the order was immediately canceled with no reason why. I later showed up there and was a bit turned off when once I entered a group of small children loudly said “The door is unlocked?!” With one of them quickly getting up to run and lock the door behind me. While I understand they are children, it was very unprofessional for the owners to have children feel comfortable enough to do that to customers especially when they were old enough to understand that wasn’t right to do. As a fellow Haitian we are taught to treat adults with respect. I also asked the man that greeted me why my order was canceled and he let me know that they ran out of rice. One big rule of a Haitian restaurant is to never run out of rice. I have family that own restaurants. Due to this experience I won’t...
