Giving Tree Theater — Attraction in Marion

This is a quaint little storefront theater in downtown Marion. I went to see a murder mystery which they do several times a year. There is audience participation with questions to get clues and a chance to guess who the murderer is. They announce who won with much fanfare. It's so fun for everybody. It's all community volunteers and directors. The seating floor is couches and easy chairs. Feel free to bring your blanket, slippers and stuffies. The staff comes to your seat to take your order. At intermission they come and see if you want refills. And at the end of the show they come and take your check. You don't have to get up for any of it. Omgsh this place is super adorable! My first time here & everyone was incredibly friendly & the seating is unique & fun! I'm really looking forward to the production. My only complaint & it doesn't affect my rating because I understand others will like it but brrrrrrr! If you're not a warm person by nature bring a jacket! I'm I'm a sweater & jeans in August & could really use a blanket.

This is an absolutely wonderful venue. It's a small little theater that is full of comfy couches and overstuffed chairs. There is not a bad seat in the place. The stage is right up to the couches and the money goes to charity. They have snacks and random wine, beer, and sodas. I really enjoyed the show and the place was cozy.
