Marion Square — Attraction in Marion

Well-maintained ground considering it is a very shaded park. Not a lot of sun for growing grass. Plenty of picnic benches and some cement seating areas. Really nice community events held here throughout the year. Farmers markets, a "chocolate walk" in many of the businesses surrounding the square a couple times/year, live music weekly in the summer and beyond, large arts festival drawing artists from around the U.S. An old train caboose/engine? in the park. Parking is horrible. Can't operate my business when the farmer market blocks off the street and i can't park. Us all those people from z102.9 and the farmers market just yell and scream at real working people and other service companies that can only park between marion square and the library. Horrible. Marion needs to either become more friendly to service companies or charge the farmers market stands $1000/hour to sit...
