Uptown Snug — Restaurant in Marion

The ambience is nice, the business is aesthetically pleasing. They have a great selection of beer & liquor. The only thing preventing me from giving this place 5 stars is their propensity to water down every dang cocktail they make. I've had two different bartenders on two separate occasions completely ruin a couple Old Fashioneds by putting more ice & water in the glass than actual old fashioned. I am not exaggerating- they literally made the drink right, then scooped ice to fill the glass, then topped it off with water. Then charged $7 for it. Then did the same to a simple gin drink my ladyfriend ordered. If we go back, we'll be sure to order our whiskey & gin neat to avoid...

Went here today for the first time ( for the coffee shop) and ordered a cold latte with almond milk and vanilla. Paired with a Veggie panini.

The coffee was fantastic! (I’ll back, thank you very much!)

The panini was as wonderful, and includes a Sriracha aïoli. Very good.

The employees are friendly and the owners are hard workers that are very present and always ensuring the highest quality.

Update: Finally got a call answered. Rental person had been out of town for several weeks. Friendly, and provided good information.

They never answer their phone, and never call you back or respond to filling out their website form for information on group gatherings and rentals, as their website says they offer. (Multiple forms and multiple voice messages left) This place, unfortunately, isn't much good to the public, or the Uptown District, if they aren't open to basic professional...
