I'd give 0 stars if I could. Scam artist company that likes to screw over existing customers while offering new customers a deal. My Husband's service started as Time Warner years ago and then Spectrum bought them out. He was paying 65.99 a month for service then got a statement in the mail for almost TRIPLE the amount. He called customer service and was fed some line about how he was "grandfathered in" on his current Time Warner plan, which has just gone up from 65.99 a month to 90.73 a month. This STILL DOES NOT ACCOUNT FOR THE EXTRA 40 SOMETHING ON THE BILL HE WAS MAILED. When he asked the CSR about the un-documented amount on the bill the CSR wanted to talk like he had cable service also. We have NEVER had cable service. The CSR then said he could switch if he wanted to the same internet only service (60meg down 5 up) with Spectrum for 69.99 a month. But the CSR claims they're not forcing people to switch?? Um. OK. Sure. He can keep his current "grandfathered" plan (if he wants to be price gauged) which is being serviced by spectrum anyway, and pay 1.5 times the cost at 90.73 a month, or he can actually switch to Spectrum and pay 69.99 for the SAME service. The kicker? "New" customers to Spectrum pay for that very same service for 44.99 a month! How about another kicker? He runs SPEED TESTS on the service, which is supposed to be 60 down 5 up, and it's NEVER clocking at the speed he is paying for! EVER. Our connection is slow, lags, and is always losing connection.    Read moreLast week I came in for my father in law who broke his femur and is unable to walk because spectrum sent the wrong cable boxes so I take them in the original box with the old boxes with his ID and corporate said thatâs all I needed cause they could call him to confirm and Kim immediately started in on me before I got in the door saying they donât take cardboard boxes and I said these are the new boxes you sent and are the wrong ones and then I proceeded to tell her my story and she said there was nothing on file that I called corporate and said I would have to go back call corporate with my father in law and have him put me on the account and my wife which is his daughter said like we would steal new boxes and old boxes and an 85 year old manâs ID to get cable boxes and Kim said you never know these days. I was furious and went back called corporate they said if Kim wouldâve looked in call history cause everything is recorded and paragraphed she wouldâve knew but was being difficult.I got it all exchanged finally after an extra 45 minute trip and wasted gas and my time because Kim needs to take a class on HAVING CLASS AND COMMON SENSE AND WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC.She is the worst person Iâve dealt with in my decades of living. If your going to work with the public you need to have a good attitude and this lady is FAR FROM IT!    Read moreIf I did not have to pick a star I would not. This company is absolutely the worst I have ever interacted with. I called for a quote for a place I was moving. The sales representative pushed through the order (they work on commissions) when I had not even moved yet. Then without permission shut off the residents service!!! Several hours later and they could not even get the current residents service back up even tho her billing was paid in full and a loyal customer who never gave permission or asked for the service to be shut off. Then I had to go to the current resident and explain what happened, and explain that I had to wait there til they delivered equipment just so I didnât get charged for it. The resident was furious. Then spectrum refused to do much of anything and after 4 hours I still have to go to the office and take back the equipment before this poor lady can have her service back!!!! Absolutely the worst company I have ever interacted with. After all this there team lead is raising his voice to me saying they cannot send a confirmation email to me stating what they said on the phone!!! I told him I could not trust there words and demanded one and he raised his voice even more! Never ever ever ever get service from this sleazy company. I will never go back...
