First, they outsource their ordering. I don't mind someone of Indian heritage taking my order whatsoever, except when I cannot understand them. It then becomes a tedious slog through hope that my order was correct. It WAS correct by the way so no shade on the ordering system, but why not just answer your own phone? The worst thing about this was the fact there were NO TOPPINGS on the pizza. I ordered a large pepperoni, sausage, and onion with traditional crust. Nothing fancy at all. When I opened the lid I knew immediately I had been cheated, so I did some counting. 8 pieces of pepperoni, 5 pieces of dime sized sausage, and MAYBE 5 small slivers of onion which I could not even taste. Again, this was for a LARGE pizza. Totally unacceptable for the price and I even used a coupon and it still was nowhere near worth the $22 I paid (which included a $4 tip for the driver). I will never again let Papa John's cheat me, and please reconsider giving them your hard earned...

I'm utterly disappointed with my recent experience at Papa John's. Despite having paid for delivery, my pizza arrived a staggering hour and a half late, forcing me to pick it up myself. This completely defeats the purpose of delivery service, which I had already paid for.

To add insult to injury, the pizza itself was a letdown. The taste was far from what I expected from a reputed chain like Papa John's. It was bland, and the toppings seemed carelessly thrown together. The crust, usually a highlight, was tough and lacked the freshness I've come to associate with their brand.
