This place is Great, a bit of work is being done in the park right now but that's a good thing. Saw tons of fish, and plenty of kids at the park. It is well kept and fairly clean.

Park provided activities for so many...fishing, kayaking, canoeing, play area for volleyball, batmitten, corn hole toss, outdoor bowling, plenty of space in the pavillion with electrical for food & personal use. Also had a big gym activity set with swing, merry-go-round , climbing..enough to keep the kids entertained.

Definitely worth a return visit for future gatherings. Didn't know if watercraft was rented or prior to...

Decent kayak launch by the pier, but it's across the road from the parking lot. Bathrooms have flush toilets and a lot of stalls.

Kayaking was easy and we saw a lot of birds: bald eagle, green heron, and others. There are a couple of places to explore and there could be a lot of nice hours spent on the water without getting bored. The water is really clean and I'm told it's...
