Martinsville Ace Hardware — Attraction in Martinsville

We came down from Fishers, IN and were treated like foreigners walking into the Martinsville ACE. Nobody greeted us, we even said hello when walking by the register, they just looked at us. Upon looking around and two employees in the back seeing that we were searching for something, neither of them offered to help find it until we asked them where they had the little green gas bottles for the coleman camp stove. The older man only barely answered in a grunt that they don't have those and the younger guy said "We don't have those, try Rural King. Since we gotten the gas bottles at our Fishers ACE (where the staff goes out of their way to help and always greets you upon entering), we looked in the front of the store with the grills and sure enough, they had the gas bottles we were looking for. The young guy came up and said "Oh, yes, I didn't get what you meant". Definitely the worst experience ever at an ACE. Fishers has two awesome locations were the staff is so friendly and helpful and even out in Utah and Colorado, we had positive experiences. Shame on you ACE Martinsville!!! Staff were above and beyond helpful and willing to be of service, despite some complications with the online purchase system. This wasn't their issue at all, but they still made an effort to resolve it on my behalf, and honestly in a world where everything is automated and there's an easy way to escape accountability, these guys are a breath of fresh air.

I'd come here more often if I lived closer by, it's a solid step up from other hardware stores in terms of customer service. Otherwise it's about the same regarding tools and...
