[Updated] We spent a good deal of intentional energy during the pandemic to support local businesses. We have visited this store multiple times over the past year to replace parts on my sonâs Traxxas vehicles. Each one was unimpressive. Our last few visits included unmasked employees, inaccurate website information, discrepancies with in store and on online pricing and inventory, an âinabilityâ to hold items overnight (without the option to pay over the phone or online), and an incredibly rude and aggressive middle age white man who was incredibly condescending during our visit. [ Note emphasis on last few visits with unmasked employees as well as the ownerâs aggressive reply and gaslighting. This last particular visit, he in fact was already up front and the only employee in site when we went entered the store. While he did allow my son to return $9 worth of sealed parts SO graciously to then purchase a $12 part, he was not called up front and made it very apparent that he was making an incredible sacrifice. We purchased a Traxxas Slash from this store less than a month ago and then 2 weeks later purchased $70 in parts to replace the broken shocks. Itâs a shame customer service isnât a higher priority.] We wonât be returning to this store. Donât waste a drive and pay the $5 shipping from Traxxas, which offers excellent customer service, knowledge of products and parts and a streamlined process. Iâll gladly take my business...
Read moreI found this place on eBay and saw it was within an hour of where I live. I was looking for an airbrush, and decided to just drive there rather than use eBay. I really needed to use the restroom after the drive and was told no as soon as I walked in the door by the greaser employee. He did however great me politely. I told him what I was looking for and he said, oh you shortly have bought it on eBay, we are out of them. He didnât offer to tell me if they would get more in or help me order it or anything. He did tell me they donât keep quantities up to date online. The online store also has a 1/350 Enterprise carrier, so I thought Iâd look around and see if I wanted to buy it or something else. They didnât have it it. I had to use the restroom bad enough I just left. It was a waste of time to go there. I hope they train employees to be more customer service oriented and helpful...
Read moreI have been looking for Tra6879r. Hobbytown didn't have it. So I called around to see who may have it. Singer Hobbies had it! They were only eight miles farther from my home than Hobbytown so I decided to hit the road. When I got there, I found a well stocked Hobby store! They had just about everything Traxxas offers! I saw just about two of every vehicle Traxxas sells, even the new Toyota Supra! I was politely asked if I needed assistance. I said I did but I would like to browse for a little longer. I was left alone to see their vast inventory. I actually found the Tra6879r hanging on the wall. I asked the gentleman for some grease and I was ready to check out. I used my Samsung pay to check out. I had my Slash 4x4 Ultimate Raptor edition with me and asked the gentlemen working if they would like to see it. I received many compliments on my truck, then it was...
