This is a decent Aldi's, it's bigger and has more selections especially if you're a wine drinker. It does have a small good section of wine. You can find mostly everything you need here, the price is decent too. Customer service is ok, the bathroom was ok and semi-clean. The store over all was clean. Produce area wasn't as bad and there weren't much rotting produce. The meat section is okay, could be better. Lots of diary products, breads, etc... frozen aisle has lots, and household items had a good aisle. Aldi has and probably will always be a very good place to shop at, it's a hit or miss with certain produce but other then that it's decent and prices...

I went to Aldi Grocery Store in Mason City, Iowa on Thursday, July 25th, 2019 at 3:00 pm. They were out of strawberries on the shelf. The only available packages (about 6) had mold on the fruit inside the package. I mentioned it to the staff and they said, “she is coming out with fresh right now.” I watched a staff member put the moldy strawberries on top of the crates of fresh fruit. Two ladies walked up and grabbed moldy strawberries and put them in their carts. I mentioned it to each of them and the ladies replaced their moldy choices with fresh.

Read moreI cannot explain my frustration with this store. The GM is an awesome person but these "team leaders" are terrible. The employees have NO cheer in them like other Aldi's stores. These people are being paid A LOT of money and they aren't happy! When I shopped there a few times and heard a lot of drama in the backroom and it just wasn't pleasant at all.
I rarely see the same cashiers working month to month... so the retention rate must be very low at this store. I can get the Aldi's prices at ANY Aldi's but that doesn't mean I will go to your store for it really...
