I didn’t know Texetron but searched and visited there. It was in the professional district on the 10th street, just above the Nolana. This shop is run by Ezra, a very professional technician and CEO. My problem was the speed of my iMac. I asked an expansion of the main memory. Ezra suggested to switch a conventional hard drive to a solid drive (SDRAM). His point was correct. But I decided to do both. His job was very speedy and accurate. The upgrade was done in just a few days even just before Christmas time. After bring back my iMac home, I had to set up an initial setting of iOS. It was a little hard job but it means just like I could get a brand new iMac even though I actually used it for seven years! (My model is 21.5 inch late 2013) The result was amazing. Although previously it was very slow to start up an application, now it is just a few seconds. A relatively heavy application such as Microsoft Office can come up in a few seconds. I loved it. My iMac was born as a fast brand new one.
Texetron can be your partner in local. For a business person, a shop owner, or an entrepreneur, it is a must to have an IT support. Ezra does the web design, too. It is so good that we have such a convenient and trustable IT...
Read moreI took my PC in for what seemed like an electrical issue. I paid $80 for a diagnostic to see what the problem was. I asked for updates multiple times and Ezra, the technician, took almost an entire week before letting me know what the problem was, a motherboard that needed replacing. He asked for an extra $560 to order the necessary parts and fix the issue. I asked for my PC back and was told I needed to wait almost another entire week before I could pick it up. Or for an extra $50, I could get it back a few days sooner. I ordered a new motherboard and took it to a friend's friend, and after about two hours, he discovered that the original diagnostic I was given was wrong, and that the issue was a faulty stick of ram. A less than $40 issue. Now I'm having to return the new motherboard, but at least I didn't fork over another $560 that Texetron was looking to...
Read moreIf I could give it zero stars I would. First of all, their communication with me was by far the worst I've ever had. Second, they took months to repair my PS4. And to finish off I want to say was worse service ever and they did not complete the job 100%, so I received my PS4 back not fixed but I did choose to do that because they were taking so long. I just wanted it back and I didn't care if it was fixed or not. Oh yeah by the way they did fix a USB port which I did say it was not as important as fixing my disk drive. They had my machine since The last week of January 2022 until sometime in May. I have no ill will towards these people but I just wanted to say our communications was not very well and I did not like their service so I will not...
