Adriatica Bell Tower — Attraction in McKinney

Don't even think about setting foot anywhere near even the front steps of this tower if you "don't have an appointment." Apparently, these people believe they own everything from the dirt under your feet to the air you breathe and if some curious soul dares to assume otherwise, they are going to be in for a bad time. You'll be rudely accosted and grilled about whether you belong there or not -- even at noon on a Tuesday. There a some restaurants nearby with windows that overlook this tower. If I were you, I'd eat and get the heck out. Don't even risk a glance out the window or you'll be grilled about your intentions. Oh it's okay to park in fire lanes and even on the grass (the man who accosted me was in fact parked in the fire lane about 15 feet from another car parked in the grass), just DO NOT APPROACH THE STEPS...

The most beautiful property ever. I wanted to move there 6 years ago but I waited to long and now I wanted to go back . I went for a tour with Bariche (Bee) Richard and she was sweet easy going not pushy and showed me all I needed. They didn’t have the time frame I needed so looks like I’ll try again next year . It’s hard to reach them from the internet but once you do they respond quickly . Ask for bee she was super helpful and patient . Fun spot for the family! My boys like to fish here although they'v never caught anything. I'm not sure if that speaks to the quality of fishing that the lake offers, or the quality of fishermen - I digress.
