Should have made this review last weekend however life got in the way. My daughter n I meet up at this Starwood every weekend however, last weekend was our last venture there. Every other weekend has been amazing. The staff were great the food was awesome management was wonderful and it was all in all a happy amazing experience every time however last weekend we were disgusted when we left and not for anything you’re thinking. The sweet dark headed Mgr was there BUT she was not on the floor making her general rounds, instead there was a blond woman. Our waitress (regardless of which one it is honestly) was very sweet and very thorough as usual however seemed a bit preoccupied or uneasy then taking a better look, they all seems to be but I just let it go n went to visiting with my kiddo, We never get into a big hurry because we honestly don’t get any time with each other until the weekend, so tables changeover somewhat frequently. Three different tables we watched this blond lady(found out it was the owner) talk to her staff as if they were common trash.. it finally bothered my daughter to the point that she went to the dark headed mgr and let her know, she needed to be spoke to. We were met with a brick wall when she told her that the blond was the owner. I will not support anyone who treats her staff so horribly. I too run a business with several locations and here to tell you, you don’t treat good staff like poo.. they are making your place run like clockwork. You owe them some gratitude and respect because they are all preforming WAY better than you were. Go home and let the pros handle your clientele. You need may need to check your “humble” meter because we think...
Read moreLove this little gem! Wish they were open a little later! Stopped by for breakfast and was very happy that I did! We got to the cafe and were immediately seated (it was between meal times so not sure of wait usually). Ordered coffee and the breakfast burrito. Hubby ordered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and some other side that I can't remember. I was a skeptical about the burrito because it only had eggs, bacon (you can get sausage instead) and cheese. I thought it might be bland due to the limited contents but it was really good. Eggs were cooked to perfection, light and fluffy with right amount of meat and cheese. The salsa they served on the side was delicious. I did order some sour cream and them mixed it with the salsa and my burrito was amazing! Husband really liked his chicken (and he is a tough one to please). Ranked it as one of the better that he had had and agreed that we would both be back. Side notes: they serve flavored creamers for your coffee - bonus points! The prices were reasonable with the exception (I felt) of the drinks. $2.95 for a soft drink seemed steep. Otherwise the value of the actual food was good. Would be fantastic if they were open a little later for an early dinner - we would definitely be able to get there more often if they were. All in all, great food, wonderful service!...
Read moreBad experience. We went there to feed my little son only, so I ordered 3 coffee lattes, 2 scrambled eggs and a kid's Apple juice, I'm sure I would never order an orange juice because my son doesn't like it, the server brought a K-OJ and as soon as I took the juice I told her that I wanted apple juice, not orange, she insisted that I order orange, she exchanged it for me immediately but on the check she charged me for it as k-orange juice.
I was almost sure that orange juice is More Expensive than k-apple juice, so I decided to double-check and ask my server if the k-apple and k-orange juice were the same price and she immediately responded yes. 🙄
After that, I didn't want to go to check the menu and check the prices, but I was pretty sure that they were not the same.
I called them today to double-check the prices, and of course, I knew I was right. k-apple is $2.65. An k-OJ $5.00 It's not the money is more about the bad actitud that the server had with us. I don't know if her annoyance was that we only ordered food for my little one or if she was upset that I didn't want to grab the k-orange juice that she brought me first, when I never asked for it. It doesn't seem fair to me to pay for something I've never consumed. I never understood why...
