Their pizza might be very good but they are very bad in service for catering. I was working with a catering manager April Wisner but she is very unprofessional and does not provide timely information. I started discussions early in Feb with her on how I needed the pizza oven for the date in end of May and she said that the oven was available and asked her to have a call as we had dietary restrictions so wanted to discuss on that. She goes by the books and did not respond to any of my calls… just straightforward messages that here’s the menu! She did not even confirm our tasting that was scheduled for a Friday and all she said is she is missing information whereas I had asked her that Monday if she needed anything for that Friday. On Thursday when I tried to reconfirm all I heard back was they are closed on monday… well then respond on Tuesday! She never responded.

Next thing I know is we cant go for tasting. I was disappointed so I called the restaurant with the hope to talk to her… as she never answered her work number from email. I did not get to talk to her but I got chance to speak with manager who was prompt and had me talk to the chef James Havey… they both were very helpful and willing to help set up tasting and accommodate my dietary needs.they even confirmed they had me on the calendar for the date I needed… we discussed and set up date and to assure keeping her in loop I send her an email with info she needed after I had brief chat with chef (all I needed was a brief conversation with someone who can help me pick what items to request for tasting that matched our dietary needs). We set up date of March 27 and next thing I here from her is my date is booked and I can no longer go for tasting: I have been in discussion with her since Feb 23! So disappointing and terrible service from their catering manager. I think she took it on her ego as I had chat with restaurant but if she would have been responsible and responsive to help answer my questions promptly I would have never called restaurant. Our family was super disappointed as we all love their pizza but due to this one person we were not able to cater pizza...

My family and I have been big fans of Cavalli ever since this location opened. We decided to dine in for dinner last week for the first time post-Covid. Working in the restaurant industry for ten years, I could tell things had changed drastically as soon as we walked in the door. Bright lights, Rihanna blaring over the sound system, and a much younger staff who sported AirPods in the kitchen.

This may have been the first food service job for our waitress (or everyone working in the restaurant for that matter), but I didn’t see a single manager or authority figure in sight to provide proper training. The hostess and our server were sweet, but our server only seemed to appear every ten minutes or so. We had to ask for clean plates between salad and pizza...when our server came back with the plates, it wasn’t the correct amount, and we realized one person in our party didn’t have silverware all along.

Pizza was great, the salad recipe seemed to have changed a little. As we were eating, I turned around and noticed the very young bartender with his mask down eating a full pizza over the bar top filled with guests.

Overall, it was a bummer to see such a great restaurant with amazing food and atmosphere, which I would have previously given 5-Stars prior to Covid, go downhill so quickly. I’m not sure if management/ownership has changed, but I hope that someone is able to address these issues and bring back Cavalli to its...

First off, this place is good... not great but it's the only neopolitan pizza joint in town. We had kind of a frustrating experience last night. Ordered online got the confirmation of the order and showed up at the estimated time only to find the host says a person came and picked up my order 5 mins before, who does that, even after he says he'll have them remake it he still didn't confirm my order. A couple of problems with this, first how long was my pizza sitting there before they gave it to someone else? I'm sure everyone here knows neopolitan style needs to be eaten as close to when it comes out of the oven as possible, and while i know this is hard to achieve with takeout, its irritating knowing my pizza sat around before the time they requested I pick up. The kid host was nice I just wish they would actually confirm orders before they give them to random people. Lastly we got a noci salad the "dry" ingredients were nice. Beets, goat cheese, candied walnuts... great. The champagne dressing though? Nearly inedible to me and certainly inedible to my wife. The acidity was cranked to 12. After eating a few bites my mouth was raw like I had been eating sour candies all day. Don't get me wrong we've had several positive experiences but unfortunately about the same in unfavorable. I feel like this place could be much better if they could tighten...

The wood-burning pizza oven showcased both hits and misses. The crispiness of the crust seemed to vary, adding an unpredictable element to the pizza experience. While some bites were delightfully crispy, others leaned towards a chewier texture. The inconsistency, however, didn't overshadow the overall enjoyment of the pizzas. The salad, unfortunately, missed the mark, with a taste that left something to be desired. Perhaps an off day in the kitchen, but it fell short of the freshness and vibrancy one would expect from an Italian restaurant. The chicken Parmesan was a true standout. Excellently prepared, it showcased the chef's skill and commitment to delivering a memorable Italian classic. Every bite was a flavorful journey, making it a must-try for anyone visiting. The staff are the real gems of this establishment. Their warmth and attentiveness added to the overall positive dining experience. From recommendations to accommodating requests, the team's dedication to customer satisfaction deserves applause. One note for potential diners: the dine-in pizza is limited to a 12-inch size. While this might be a drawback for those seeking a larger pizza, the quality and taste make up for the size limitation.

Ok just ordered a Cavalli pizza, I've been looking for a pizza that taste as good as the best New York style pizza I ever had from an Italian guy in Maryland, so before i rate this pizza I have to say I screwed up when I ordered the New York I got ham, sausage and olives I thought it had pepperoni on it but it didnt so I take that into consideration, the dough was super good 8 out of 10, toppings 9 out of 10, it needed a bit more sauce but what it had 10 out of 10, cheese 6 out of 10 only because it needed more, the pizza wasn't piping hot but was luke warm but i did get it delivered? , 5 or 6 out of 10, delivery guy 10 out of 10 he was cool and smiley, so all in all definately going to order again this time I'll pick it up so it's super hot order extra sauce, cheese with pepperoni and i think it'll be a 9 out of 10, the only reason it wouldn't be a 10 out of 10 is because I haven't found a pizza with the best mozzarella like I had in Maryland, super cheesey and gooey, with the right amount of salty goodness, in my opinion the mozzarella and crust are 80% of the pizza taste.

Ordered takeout. Asked it to be ready by 4pm. Waited 20min extra because it was not ready around 4pm at all. Food was extremely boring. The pizza wasnt cooked long enough so it had no crunch at all, felt soggy. For add ons its $2.00 each but the amount of basil and chicken we received felt like we might as well have left it off. Original price of 1 pizza is $12.99 plus add ons. One pizza with 2 add on toppings cost $16.99 total. Not really worth it because one person could eat 1 box of their pizza. Its so light. The focaccia bread is crunchy and thin. Not as tasty either. The only thing I liked from this restaurant was the Caesar salad. The salad looked clean and the large is enough for 2-3 people. No cooking involved with the salad tho. Ive had real Italian pizza but this was lacking flavor overall. It didnt feel authentic to me. Not saying their other items on the menu shouldn't be tried. But I was not a fan of their pizzas or their bread.
