This place is unreal! An explosion of every color of Crape Myrtles that exist! You will say wow wow wow when you see it in person. It's this little oasis that most people don't even know it exists. I must have driven by it 100 times not knowing it was there. It has great history if you read up on it. A fantastic place to go and get in some steps while admiring such beauty. The only caveat is if you are allergic to bees. While I loved seeing how happy they all were, there were hundreds so just be aware of that fact. Lots of...

We visited on July 5, so all of the varieties were blooming. Very nice short stroll to see everything. It’s smaller than I expected, but the city of McKinney and businesses add to it by having crape myrtle’s all along the roadways approaching the park. There are a few benches scattered about, and I saw people lying in the open areas on blankets for picnics or just relaxing. However, this is not a full service type park, so there are no tables or bathrooms, etc. It’s just a short stop to look around and take pictures but...

My mother is an avid gardener. We just moved my parents from their beautiful farm in Arkansas to a senior apartment in Texas and she's been a little out of sorts. The beautiful gardens and easily accessible paths were just what we needed. So well done--can't wait to bring her back at the height of the blooming season next summer.

Very pretty, though small, landscaped park with trails. The park is absolutely beautiful in the summer when the crape myrtle trees are blooming. Lovely place to take a walk or have a picnic. If you stay long enough in the evening, you may see bunnies and fireflies in the wooded area next to the park.
