Riverside Dog Park — Attraction in McMinnville

This is a great dog park compared to some the other places we have gone. *Easy to find, it's right in the city of Mcminnville. *Provides plenty of dog bags and trash cans. *Plenty of space for dogs & their owners. Has 4 inclosed areas. *Has a little kitty pool area which my lab loves. However this is my only hate. The drain always clogs and then the water gets muddy and wood chips get all over. We do our best to wash the d Wood chips out and keep clean water in the kitty pool. *A picnic table to sit at in each area. *in the green area of the big section there is a mini training course. *parking is usually fine. Sometimes RV's and others try and park there and use the parking lot for residence. Just call the police/none emergency (only police if you see illegal activity going on) they are great at taking care of...

Really great dog park compared to some. I've never had a issue here with owners or dogs, but I've heard of many, which makes me apprehensive about going anymore. I just try go pick a good time when there is less people and pets. But please, if your a Cooo-Coo-Kachewey, just don't come her with your little darling. And if your dog is mean, super dominant, ball aggressive, or so on, maybe not coming to an offleash park would be an intelligent idea? Just something to consider. I know dogs will be dogs but let's use our common sense alittle more here people,...

The dog park itself is great, however some of the people that attend it aren't so... They bring their big bully of a dog to beat up on all the other dogs. I took my shepherd there for her very first time at a dog park and the first thing that happens to her, she gets attacked just as soon as we get in the gate. She didn't even want to chase after her ball after that. It's shameful that some people can't leave their unsociable...
