Wortman Park | East entrance — Attraction in McMinnville

At first I didn't like that part a lot of homeless people a lot of weird stuff but then I got to know some of those homeless people because I'm homeless myself I helped a guy I thought it said in his life but eventually he passed I helped another guy call 911 I did I saved his life the picture confusing investment I heard a lot the part is cleaner now not very many homeless people but the ones that are there still need the help that our community could help they're just people they're just people with needs and people that have problems like all of but we need to do let her arms around them don't be afraid I have them telling me care I'm one of the people that help the rangers clean up that Park I love cleaning up that bar I love cleaning up other homocytes that they almost had left an exclusively yes but I feel need to help the community get back to what they want and need for future generations to...

Beautiful park and I did see security but we couldn't go more than twenty feet from our vehicle due to the transients who appeared, waiting patiently for us to walk away from our trailer hitch. Sigh. My kids wanted to explore but we didn't feel we could walk away from the car. There were no close picnic tables so we had to eat in shifts, with a few of us standing guard by the vehicle until we could swap and go eat. The parking lot was mostly cars full of junk with people sleeping (or fighting like one couple) in them. Picture is one guy who would loiter by our hitch until we walked up, then he'd start yelling to himself and walk away, but as soon as we went a few feet back to the table, he'd come back on another path, slowly getting as close as he could to the bag again. Wortman park is an awesome place to take your children. It has two sets of swings and a jungle like play aera where they can play. It also has fun stuff for the adults to do like play baseball because wortman park has a baseball field. There are aeras where picnic tables are set up so you could enjoy a good meal with your family. Wortman park is also handicapped friendly it has asphalt trails all around the park. There park is well maintained. And it also has frisbee golf course around the park. Pets are allowed at the park on leash only and you must clean up after your pet.There are buildings with grills in them for rent, for a resident of Mcminnville its $25 dollars during the week and $50.00 on Sat or Sun.
