We visited Mark McGrath Park multiple times a week for some fun catch and release! The vibe of this park is super chill. Nice, clean covered seating area with BBQ grill available. There are public restroom, basketball, and baseball fields nearby. This park also has a nice walking trail wrapped around and through the park. Multiple beaches are available to you on the trails, and many trash cans are located nearby if your dogs decide to do their business. You can catch some decent shades under the trees that are there. The pond though, I must say it is my favorite piece of the park as I love to fish. It is a hidden gem considering it is a neighborhood park. The pond is thriving with many species under the surface! I can honestly say I sometimes find myself lost track of time fishing here. My lady hates that sometimes, but what can I say? "One more cast babe!" 🤣! Luckily, the covered seating areas are well made. I would strung up the hammock for her to hang out and read her books. She seemed to enjoy that. Overall, Mark McGrath Park is a chill, beautiful place that anyone of all ages can enjoy. Say hi to the older gentlemen who always feed the ducks when you see him for me! As always, stay safe and enjoy! -V.H.🙏

Trail surrounding park is approximately .40 miles so with three laps you should do bit over a mile. There's a nice pond where you can fish (have to release) and watch some ducks lounge around and hunt for worms. There's a water park that seems functional in the summer time and a spacious stretching area filled with assistive workout equipment to help you stretch and get a calisthenics workout in. It's full of I formative billboards so you will be able to follow along with what you are comfortable. Around the trail there's nice aligns giving information about nature something every park should have. Awesome park definitely worth a visit. A popular area for pokemon go as well I saw multiple people using it...
Read moreThis park is safe and the community who frequents are so nice and friendly. A great place to interact with friends who play Pokemon Go, who play baseball or who are looking to get a start at working out and exercising. The park facilitates all aspects, and it also has a splash pad that kids can play in. You'll find restrooms available as well. Bikes are not allowed on the tracks, it's more suited for walking, walking your dogs (on a leash) or running around the tracks. It is next to an elementary school, so careful with driving through the neighborhood to get to the park during school hours....
