I stayed here less than a year because this place has been a problem since day one. I had my mom tour a unit because I was moving from out of state. They purposely showed her a nice and clean unit and told her my unit was in a different area, which I recorded when I FaceTimed her during the tour. They would not let me sign the lease until the day before I moved in which was the first red flag. And then they gave me the unit next door to the unit my mom toured instead of the one they said they would. The unit I ended up moving into seemed like no one was supposed to live there. It was old and nothing was working. No one had cleaned the place. There were urine stains on all 3 toilet seats and inside the toilet bowl. I thought everything would be better once I cleaned everything and had maintenance fix everything. Nope. After moving in it has been a pain to get a hold of the girls at the front desk. They don’t ever pick up the phone or answer emails. And then they give you an attitude when you show up at the main office. Yet have the audacity to call you when you put in your notice and ask you if you can turn in your keys early. Maintenance is no better. After many many MANY service requests, the heat/air conditioner still does not work and I have given up trying to get it fixed. They will stop by and pretend like they tried to fix the issue but they are in and out within a minute. We have also had a cockroach problem since the beginning. I know Texas is known for bugs but I have talked to many people, including realtors, who say that it is definitely not normal to find multiple cockroaches every single day. It took 3 requests and 7 months for them to finally send pest control over. The complex itself always has problems. I’ve seen many neighbors get arrested. I’ve had neighbors invite themselves into my unit because they saw my front door open. After moving out before my lease was up I still got charged a $40 water bill even though I didn’t use any water, and a cleaning bill of $70 after I spent the whole day cleaning prior to giving back the keys. It also took 3 months of emails and phone calls to finally get my deposit back. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away...
Read moreHello everyone. Let me start off by saying, this property is amazing. Why you said that, I'm glad you asked. The property is clean, well kept, quiet, secure, and great appearance from the road. Let's talk about the lease office and the staff. The moment I walked into the office, I was greeted with the upmost respect. The cleanliness of the leasing office and the smell was outstanding, I had to tell them something about how well it smelled in the office. I want to say Thank You to Ms. Ann(Property Manager) and Ms. Paola( Lease Consultant). Paola ask me how can I help you. I told her I was interested in leasing with them and she immediately said give me a second let me gather the paperwork and then we could take a walk and see the unit that was available. From that moment it was all uphill from there. We sat down started working on numbers, an what I would have to pay. We then took a walk to the unit and looked at it. It was very clean, the only thing I saw when we walked in, was some dead tree roaches only because the pest control guy had came in and sprayed the unit prior to US during the walk through. We proceeded back to the office after that and I was very interested in the unit. She immediately told me the fees that was due upfront too get the process started. I gave her all the information that was required paid the fees too start the process. After getting the process started we ran into some major road blocks. The process, the time, the effort and the work that Ms Paola, and Ms Anna put in, too get me this unit after all the challenges were outstanding. I walked into this property on a Thursday morning, by Wednesday afternoon Ms. Paola were calling me too say I was approved. I did a final walkthrough on Thursday afternoon and the unit was all cleaned and smelling awesome. The level of professionalism is the best at any property I ever been to. Rockwell management listen good(HaHa) I would do anything to keep this power team together at all cost. Please use this as a blue print for training on customer relations. I'm truly proud and excited to now call Resort Townhomes my new...
Read moreI stayed there from late 2012 to 2016 with my family. It was quiet. The trees provide good shade to help cut your electric bill. We did not really visit the pool much. The townhomes are somewhat elevated compared to the surrounding streets. I was there for several floods prior to Harvey. We had a fifteen inch rain one evening and no water got into the car or the townhome. There were some plumbing issues downstairs due to tree roots, but this was eventually rectified. We had to leave for a couple of days because of the noise of jackhammers but we were advised about this in advance prior to our temporary departure. They replaced large sections of parking lot while we were there due to settlement and cracking. The end result was very nice. The central air system worked exceptionally well. I kept it a chilly 64 degrees nearly all of the time. Just don’t use any air filter other than what the office recommends if you are going to set the air conditioner that low - the unit on the roof will freeze. I know because it happened to us a couple of times. The higher quality filter can restrict the flow of warm air causing the roof unit to ice over even in hot weather. I never had any problems there. The townhomes each had a private fenced in patio and water hose connection if you like to garden. I would have stayed there but the rent and our expenses made it unfeasible. We really wanted to move into a house. That is what we ended up doing. When we left it was because of a death in the family and financial reasons. This is a good middle of the road place to live in terms of cost. Types of internet available in the units are Comcast, Dial-up, and Satellite service. You may have to pay a fee to have a dish...
