HORRIBLE - Visit at your own peril. Store sells STALE and almost EXPIRED foods without any qualms. On Christmas Eve, 2021, I purchased two packets of Swad Fox Nuts costing $3.50 each and an $11 bottle of Nescafé Gold Instant Coffee. Back home, I found both packets of fox nuts to be stale and threw them thinking, “Fine, they go stale sometimes!” However, on Christmas Day, when I opened the new coffee bottle, I found that it was expiring in just 6 days! Who finishes a coffee bottle in 6 days? The store had taken my money in exchange for rubbish that I could not consume for the expected amount of time. On December 26th, like a good patron, I went to the store to share what had happened and to request store credit or refund for the ~$11 bottle of coffee since I could only use it for 5 days. However, I got a run around with a task to come back or call back to talk to the manager. I asked the store clerk to call him but she could not reach him. Yet, she insisted I needed to chase him with calls or visits. I refused and left the bottle of almost expired coffee at their counter. I tried giving the store a chance to rectify the issue but they refused to do the right thing. They are perfectly okay with taking your money without providing the value you paid for. I ended up opening a charge dispute with my credit card company. The store has lost my business due to their shameful lack of morals and concern for the health of their customers.
Note to store: Your response to my comment clearly demonstrates my point about buying at your own peril. I found the same coffee bottle with expiration of 2023 at another store and the fox nuts were as fresh as if they were packed yesterday. That is where I will take my business rather than a store that blames the customer. you literally have tens of competitors. Also, it was your store clerk who manhandled me when I was trying to take a photo of the bottle before I left it at your counter. Another clerk stopped her. It’s in your store camera; you should check it. I left this out in my earlier comments since I didn’t want to embarrass the store clerk. Your blatantly false accusation that I manhandled her is yet another proof of your immorality! This is not propaganda but an honest customer review. Plus you got someone to falsely give you a rating of 5 the same day you responded to my comment, obviously to manipulate the overall...
Read moreOne of the worst Indian grocery store. I agree with other customers review. The owner have such a bad attitude and no customer service at all. I recently moved to apartment near by and on my first visit I was so excited and bought everything for my house warming but to my surprise the dry fruit like almonds and cashews were very old and taste was nasty when I complained they say they are company packed and cannot help and the owner was very rude. I thought let’s give a second chance and the second time I had arguments because of last times complain and they are not pricing the items I asked for the price of lemon the person at counter said 50 cents each and than a lady said we will give for 35 cents so I asked the lady that it means $1 for 3 she said yes and while cashing they charged 1.05 for 3 so I said give me 2 I don’t want any obligations and than they charged 50 cents All I want everyone to understand is they are not business orientation people and the owner started abusing me in Indian language and told not to come just because I said other stores always listen to customers and try to solve the problem not give bad words VERY VERY BAD BEHAVIOR NEVER TO BUY OR VISIT THE STORE VISIT ONLY...
