PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED BY OTHER GOOGLE REVIEWS I was a student here a total of 3 semesters and majored in computer Science, I only went here because they gave me such as huge scholarship, that it made school really cheap, but i should've known it was too good to be true. The school is accredited, but by some low down accreditation associations, meaning that it will be damn near impossible to transfer out of this school with any credits, and if you plan on transferring like i did, you will have to start over at your new school as a freshman. Accreditation is one thing, but the phone system is another.
Just hang up the phone don't even think about calling them, because they will just ignore the call. I was in need time sensitive documents from them, so naturally I lean towards calling over emailing them, so i call , yes the front desk picks up, but that';s where it ends, don't try to call the financial aid office, or the regisrar's office (which are what you really need most if you ask me) because they will not pick up. Which only resorts to email, in which they will respond, but this is silly because I have to send 5+ emails spanning over the course of the whole day to receive what I initially requested in the first place , when this could have been achieved in a simple 3 minute phone call.

Read moreMy experience at North American University has been terrible. The tuition and fees are extremely expensive, and the facilities and services offered don’t match the price at all. Honestly, it feels like a scam.
The Meal Plan is ridiculously overpriced: it only includes 10 meals, and if you want more, you’re forced to buy additional plans that are extremely costly. On top of that, since we live on campus, we are not allowed to cook our own food, and the only cooking area provided is very limited. Basically, the university forces students to spend money on overpriced meal plans that are not worth it.
What makes things worse is the lack of support from the management and administration. We have asked for help multiple times, and they simply refused to assist us. They even went as far as confiscating many of our personal instruments, which is completely unfair and unacceptable.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this university to anyone. It is overpriced, poorly managed, and offers little to no real support...
Read moreThe worse thing you can do is send your child here no matter how cheap it is. The dorms are not even on campus, and they are in an extremely dangerous area. On top of that, they are not clean or adequate for living. Unless you are foreign and this is the only school in the US that will give you an I-20 don't go. Also, most schools including Lonestar don't even recognize the accreditation that they have. This is not a real American University. This is just one of the many Turkish ran schools in Houston. Do yourself a favor and go to a real college. Even if your grades are terrible, you can go to community college to build them up. That is unless your sole desire is being in a sexist environment and working at Harmony or one of the other Turkish school because that is basically your option after...
