Sheila is one of the most incredible and personable ladies I have ever met.

She is a unique individual who puts her heart and soul into her work. I had no idea where to start with my wedding dress - I had never even imagined my wedding before our engagement and I found that I was absolutely dejected over my prospects during my initial dress search. Everything seemed so hard with the planning and family aspects of planning in addition to not being able to find a dress that was even remotely close to truly reflecting who I am.

Then I found Sheila Frank.

Sheila worked tirelessly to help shape and guide me to the dress of my dreams...

AND THEN she made my dreams come true!!!

The entire time we worked together Sheila was readily available, punctual, and very communicative about her own needs in addition to making sure my own were met. She took the time to make every stitch count and the quality of her work is astounding. You can count on Sheila's honesty, kindness, and dedication. Rest assured, she will make things better and not worse. She never hesitated to help guide me and support me.

I am so grateful for her talent, time, and friendship. Sheila is a wonderful soul and I feel fortunate to have found a true friend in Sheila. The difference she made in my life and how I handled planning was profound; before her I was miserable and after Sheila, the excitement returned, and things began to fall into place more easily. Her help designing a dress that worked perfectly in tandem with the wedding and who I am gave me the joy and foundation I was lacking. Just knowing she was working so tirelessly and that she truly cared provided me with the peace of mind I needed so that I could pull everything else together. I could not have done it without her.

I consider Sheila to be one of the best things to come out of the entire experience of getting married (the dress too!). I feel truly fortunate to have been able to work with Sheila and to have her become someone that I wouldn't hesitate to call my friend.

I have never felt more myself and more beautiful than I did on my wedding day thanks to Sheila. I wanted to surprise my guests with my dress, and I can vividly recall, as I walked down the aisle with my father, hearing the audible gasps of surprise from our guests as I passed by and they finally saw the back of my dress. My very first visit with Sheila... I fell in love with her! She was completely understanding, was willing to adjust things as we designed together, helped put my friends in their place (in a firm, but kind way) when they were overly vocal by reminding them it's my day and what will look best on me, and she was extremely compassionate when I was in serious pain. I never had ANYONE take that kind of time with me. She also made these days super fun!! Her gorgeous and painstakingly detailed work IS just what you're looking for...exquisite and one of a kind! I'm so excited to see the final product and take a picture to showcase! Please don't think this is just bridal gowns, ladies!!!! Galas, weddings, proms, quinceñeras, debutante balls, Halloween, Comicon, etc. are all places she can design something for. You MUST think of her when wanting a custom made item...she's passionate, creative and truly LOVES what she does! On a side note...Mary Worley, Sheila Frank is kind, sweet and doesn't have a vicious bone in her body to make such a statement. I'm questioning why YOU would even allow dresses made that large after going through so many fittings? You had measurements done, you tried on a muslin, went for at least 2-4 fittings and tried on the dress before you walked out with it. As did the other women in your party. Did you not say anything at that time? Everything could have been altered during ANY OF THOSE TIMES. I think it's in poor taste to never say a word when something CAN be done and blast someone's business on a public forum AFTER the fact. It makes you look petty and small. Are you looking through dresses on websites, amazon, big box stores and just feel that you want and deserve better? MEET SHEILA!!

I had an idea in mind for a custom dress, but thought having someone create it would be so far beyond my price range. One of the things Sheila asked up front was my price range. She was very open and honest about the cost of labor, materials, different fabrics, I actually told her towards the end I didn't even care anymore because she is so trustworthy!

She had me in for an initial meeting where we clicked right away and picked out fabrics and sketched a basic design. My second meeting she had a muslin replica of my dress. This was so wonderful because we were able to play with the design, move the straps up in the back, lower the zipper, lower the skirt, put gaps in the paneling, etc.. This would never have been possible buying a dress on amazon.

This was an experience and it was wonderful. My dress was exactly what I pictured it to be, and fit me perfectly. People could see how much I just adored my dress. It fit me and my personality, and my budget. I cannot say enough things about how wonderful working with Sheila was. Seeing her get excited about my design got me excited about my design, and she made sure every stitch was placed perfectly and that the dress hugged my curves just how I wanted.

If you have any need for a wedding or formal dress and are tired of being basic, and wearing dresses that you feel are just not your style, PLEASE give Sheila a call, you will not be disappointed.
