I was there on Wednesday, 8/7/24, for the first time. The coffee was very good, the food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable and the serving sizes were plentiful. The shop is cute, spacious, and clean. However, our service was terrible. The clerk (an older man) was so cold and unwelcoming, he was actually rude. He did not once smile, thank us, or acknowledge our comments to him. When taking our coffee orders, he didn’t inquire as what kind of milk we wanted , nor did he tell us what they had. We spent quite a bit of money, as we were a party of 7, (wish I hadn’t included a tip) but we will not return. He made us feel like we were a nuisance to him, and he was anxious for us to leave. Read moreThe café is located in a charming section of the Main Street downtown Mechanicsburg which I don't frequent except for special occasions such as the annual Jubilee Day. It appeared to be quite popular as there were people going in before and after us; there were a few tables with diners already settled down with their laptops. I noticed there were as many charging outlets as possible on the wall, including USB-C plugs!
I had the cappuccino which was rich and smooth. I also had a brownie which was crispy and light, not too sweet to my liking. It went perfectly with the cappuccino.
Staff was very friendly and the place felt very clean and inviting.
Edit: I didn't know at the time but they do have a private parking lot behind the building and free street parking 7...
Read morePassing thru on a trip back from Philly to Cincinnati. Grabbed some breakfast sandwiches and coffee for myself and my wife. The Iced Vanilla Latte was simply delicious. I wish there was a bigger size option. It was perfection. My wife said her Hot Carmel Latte was the second best she had ever had save our favorite coffee cafe in Cincy. The Breakfasr sandwiches were hot and tasty as well. I wish I could pick this place up and drop it into Cincinnati. Should I swing thru town again I’ll stop...
