I was there yesterday paid around $60 for meat. The price is on the meat. I pointed at what was circled the person grabbed meat from the back. Place was highly recommended from a Turkish friend who was raving about the place. I don’t just cook for myself I cook for my mom who is 78, my family. I trusted the butcher when I took the meat since I thought no way I would be handed bad meat… When I opened the package the meat smelled. My husband was trying to keep it positive and tried seasoning and cooking it. Couldn’t eat it so it was dumped.

It tasted off, the texture was off The smell was bad You shouldn’t have sold the meat as it was, you know more as a butcher, that wasn’t nice of you. I’m not going back. I’ll try my chances with Fair Price Market in Revere. They cut the meat in front of you. Your market is closer but I am not going a second time to be sold...

I’ve had repeated issues with products, especially dairy, being moldy or past their expiration date (photo attached).

Pricing is another problem. Most items have no shelf tags, and not all products have a price printed on the package. I’m not sure that’s even legal in Massachusetts. Even worse, we’ve been overcharged multiple times compared to the sticker price and had to ask for our money back.

Running a retail business is a skill and they don’t have it.
