We had two of our son's guitars re-stringed and cleaned and we thought tuned as well. We were told the job would be done in a few days and when we said it was for our son's birthday present for that Friday, we were promised they'd be ready by Friday. Friday came and went and another full week went by and we never got a call to pick them up. Needless-to-say, we missed our son's birthday and WE had to call to ask what happened. "WE gave them the wrong number." The guitars had been sitting there done. We're pretty sure we know our own phone number but they didn't take responsibility or even seem to care. When we picked up the guitars and asked what phone number they had in their computer, they rattled off the correct number. The young man said, "we must have called the wrong number." Too bad no one tried again especially knowing this was a gift that we wanted ready by a certain date. On top of missing our son's birthday and being blamed for giving them the wrong number, they charged us about $20.00 more than what was quoted which we thought was expensive to begin with. When we asked why the estimate was so far off, we were told the quote didn't include the strings! That was the whole idea of bringing them in! The total came to about $82.00. I thought they were also going to be tuned, too, but they don't sound like they were. Also, we didn't like that you do not at all talk to the man who took your order; you are sent to someone else for the pick up and we can guess why. We are very upset and disappointed, although the guitars are shiny clean. No apology, no concern about our disappointment, NO attempt at all to retain our business. I am essentially in my own business, too, and if I ever treated my clients with that kind of aloof attitude, I'd be unemployed. We love to support small businesses and it takes a lot to disappoint us ...but next time, we're headed to the Guitar Center....

I first hand witnessed the owner come out of the store, raising his hands in the air making "SHOOING" motions to a group of individuals who were battling in a raid on Pokemon Go. He said he was going to call the police as they were "loitering". The raid's normally don't take more than 3 minutes and the crowd moved on. Last that I recall it is Medina PUBLIC square. Pokemon Go actually brings people out of their homes, get's them moving around the square and possibly shopping in the retail outlets. You would think a business owner on the square would...
Read moreThe past ten years we have used Woodsys for instrument purchases, rentals, and instructions. Although there is other companies, franchise companies... Woodsys knowledge and experience helps folks who have children just starting out in the music world. When my children were young and started their class, Woodsys is where I went to rent their instruments. My son had ADHD and needed an instrument that would work for his energy. They suggested a quarter Bass. My son loved it and still does. He is now almost 20 and still loves that type of music and playing! Thank you for continuing the small town...
