Howard E. Futch Memorial Park at Paradise Beach — Attraction in Melbourne

Love the speech! Our favorite Beach nearby! We were actually married here in November and rented the large pavilion for the reception. It was very beautiful and everyone was very cooperative and friendly about our wedding going on and photos. We enjoy this multiple times a year. It's not too far from bathrooms, parking is decent but can get a little busy during tourist season. If you are reading this please always remember to be careful and watch for marked areas of sea turtle eggs, avoid walking in the vegetation, and please always pick up your trash. Trash can be a danger to the sea life as it makes its way into the water. Oftentimes it looks like a jellyfish or other food and sea turtles among other sea life will try to eat it causing a very dangerous outcome. We love our ocean and we love our sea life let's keep them around for our children's children to enjoy...

It was a nice beach, lots of amenities bathrooms, food, tables, playground, shower poles to take off sand. It was quick to get parking lot although small lots of people leave by afternoon. It is a small and crowded beach, no shade at all and the water is lurky. I can deal with this because florida beaches are mostly like this but the two stars are for the air force base next door who jets sound like they are about to explode your ears off and it can get scary for babies and annoying. Its cool to watch them fly together but the sound its awful. It sounds like they are about to drop a war bomb in your ear drums. I couldn't enjoy the beach as much as...

Had a really nice time with friends, the pavilions are nice, the park is great for kids. Good beach access, showers, and beach.

What ruined it for us was the homeless man who was shouting and cussing at us (we had a two year old who was crying). Wife and others also later told me they felt unsafe with some of the homeless people around. If you can't feel safe why would you go somewhere? If you're going to get shouted at...
