Audubon Park — Attraction in Memphis

This park area never ceases to amaze me. There's a nearby golf course. This is my second review. It still tends to attract more serious walkers and joggers. I would suggest all "riders" to this park, secure your vehicles, as with any parks. Otherwise, you'll likely have a great experience.

But, I can't stress this enough... I just wish there were trails for animal lovers to walk their pets. I don't understand why the animal lovers don't use the outer sidewalks surrounding the park's walk trail.

It's rude to have your pet stop near a "walker" to eliminate. Also, some people maybe traumatized or even allergic to them. I have nothing against pets, but it's more a matter of consideration and respect.

This neighborhood park has been around for a long time... And shares a lot of nature's under-rated beauty. My faves are the huge old trees and happy...

Went here with my kids to try a new park and was severely disappointed. The playground is downright dangerous. Between the hard rubber mats that are all deformed that make running a complete tripping hazard, and the actual playground equipment that is outdated, rusty, and wooden parts disintegrating I could let my kids play on it for more than 5 minutes.

Then we were just walking around checking out other areas and stumbled upon a hole in the ground about 8 inches in diameter that went straight down and we could hear our echo when yelling into it. I was very scared my 2 year old would fall in and get stuck. This hole was unmarked, no sign or orange cone or any other marking suggesting people be careful...

I took my dog there to exercise and to feed the ducks..gave them old Grape-Nuts cereal and Cheerios, because I learned that bread is actually not good for ducks as it has no nutritional value and just basically feels them up and can bother their stomach and then pause other problems with them. My dog loves to swim in the lake. The only complaint is that I wish they would clean up all around the lake front area I know it's going to get muddy because of the water and stuff like that but I wish they could put some kind of barrier around it because it looks a little trashy you could say. But it's a great place to take your dogs for exercise...
