My Big Backyard at Memphis Botanic Garden — Attraction in Memphis

I CANT BELIEVE I HAVEN'T HEARD MORE ABOUT THIS AT BOTANIC GARDENS!! I have always LOVED the Memphis Botanic Gardens, however I've been gone for 10 years and just moved back! I recently revisited the MBG, and was shocked I had not heard of or seen the "My Big Backyard" before from other parents... As I am always taking fun kid spots suggestions! Absolutely phenomenal. Beautiful and well kept gardens. I enjoyed every bit of it. They have so many different plants that they can leave outside - nothing like Alberta, Canada. Absolutely beautiful. So many sculptures (not even my pictures covers them all. Highy recommend going! The plant house opened 3 weeks ago is what I was told, and wow. Beautiful. It took me a couple hours to go through just HALF of the gardens and had to run through the rest cause time. 😁 they have different activities going on. So very much...

Love this place, especially for kids! We live in a townhome so we don't have a backyard, so this place is just perfect for some outdoor play. The kids can dig in the dirt, role play, explore, and just enjoy the beautiful nature around them.

The other party of the gardens are beautiful too, and enjoyable to walk around. Especially the koi pond, the fish think you're going to feed them (which you can pay to do so) so they get so close to you and they're huge! It's...
