Memphis Japan Festival — Local services in Memphis

Whoever was running the 2025 event has no clue what they're doing. It took a solid 35 min to get parked and there were multiple near misses turning onto Cherry Rd since there was no officer directing traffic. When we get in the line to go into entrance A the line was multiple hundreds of people long which could have been allieviated by having a few signs up showing they had lines for cash and for credit. Instead we wait forever to later realize the cash line was available and 8X shorter. Then they had a total of 3 people taking admission money. Have they never been to a Chick-fil-A and seen the power of mobile stations that would have moved the line probably 2-3X faster with possibly adding 3-4 people with mobile payment options. Then for some unknown reason they jammed every food trucks into a tiny area so that lines overlapped and after waiting in a line to park a line to enter now if we want food we need to endure another line to have the joy of paying way too much for lunch. There were a few unique vendors but overall this felt very poorly managed and my family had taken in all they could stand within an hour. 2025 was done poorly. It was hard to get to the venue so we parked across the street where the oak court mall used to be. I stood in 2 different lines totaling 2 hrs for both to run out of the food I wanted to order. It was not worth the price or time. I had to pay entrance into the botanical garden just to wait in more lines. Total disappointment and...

Been there two times. Had a lot of fun each time. Lots of stuff to look at or buy. They have a stage with different shows. There was some stalls with Japanese games and activities for kids to enjoy. There was different food and beverage trucks too. 10/10 will...
