Empire Hair Studio — Attraction in Memphis

What I experienced with my son in this place was a nightmare. A lady named Alana helped me on Saturday, February 10, when quoting a work estimate, she told me 100 when I wanted to pay. It was an oasis. They didn't accept cards, so I had to go to the bank to withdraw money and then return to the hairdresser to pay, that day I did not do the work because I did not have the dyes. We scheduled for today Monday, February 12 at 11 am, it is worth mentioning that on Saturday and today I arrived very late for the appointment, everything was going well that's what I thought...my son wanted 2 shades of blonde dye from the Root and pink ends...when he finished the work he said that we would see the results later...he only applied dark pink dye from the Root to the ends and never applied the blonde and charged us 150 more...so he started again the odyssey, I was very sure that the work was paid, I didn't carry cash and they don't accept cards...I had to call my oldest daughter who works in Mississippi to bring me the money...my son was heartbroken crying because it was his birthday gift. .. he has major depression and it is difficult for him to go out, talk and trust people. Now there is 250 USD less in our account, a heartbroken child and a feeling of deep sadness in my family. Totally disappointed...

I am a semi driver. Since I never get to use the same hair dresser I'm always very nervous when it comes to getting a hair cut. Im a women with short hair so I don't want to come out looking like a dude. I always google and look at reviews so right off this salon had my attention. I like to see pictures of the girls that work there...is their hair done trendy like or do they look like they just jumped out of bed?? Lol. Right off I was greeted by friendly receptionist. I had called ahead and was given Becca for my stylist. She was young energetic and eager. She listened and even took the time to look at my pictures to see what kind of cut I was after. Her and I hit it off we talked the whole time non stop. I didn't feel like she was trying to rush to get to the next client. I have read people comment about their prices so here is my opinion...if you want low price go to great clips you will get what you pay for. This is a great atmosphere, trendy, up to date, and friendly. If I'm back in town I will return!! Great job girls!!!...

I love my haircut!!! Brittney was my stylist and from the start she was corresponding with me-making sure I knew where to go. I had the best time with her. I got way more out of the experience then a haircut. We were laughing and having fun. She is incredibly genuine and real. She made me feel comfortable and at ease with her and she knows her stuff. I was in a hair blah and I walked out feeling great. I had so much happiness- my hair looks so good. I’m so excited to show it off. Her beautiful energy with her magical scissors and wizardry hands did that. She’s something else. I have been shopping around for a stylist for awhile and I found her. I’m so excited to go back and see what I’ll look like next. I am so happy I got to experience Brittney!! Go get your haircut from her! She will probably...
