Heroes Park — Attraction in Memphis

Hero's Park is a lovely place for families, and it's clear that it has a lot of potential to be a great spot for kids to play and have fun. My baby girl absolutely loves this park, and it's become a favorite for us to visit. The playground equipment is well-maintained, and the open space provides plenty of room for kids to run around. However, as a parent, I do have some concerns. While the park is generally enjoyable, I've had to be very observant when bringing my child here. Unfortunately, there are occasional individuals who come to the park to smoke weed, which can create an uncomfortable environment for families. It’s definitely something to be mindful of, especially when your child is playing. For this reason, I tend to visit the park during quieter times when it's just us, ensuring a safer and more relaxed experience. We had just reached the second bridge (near the exit to the clearing) when we seen two animals that resembled cats but had a slender build with a longer tail than domestic cats. It's okay for walking the wooded half that is less than a quarter of a mile. Other than that, there are just wild fake "service dogs" not on leashes, so be careful.
