Hero's Park is a lovely place for families, and it's clear that it has a lot of potential to be a great spot for kids to play and have fun. My baby girl absolutely loves this park, and it's become a favorite for us to visit. The playground equipment is well-maintained, and the open space provides plenty of room for kids to run around. However, as a parent, I do have some concerns. While the park is generally enjoyable, I've had to be very observant when bringing my child here. Unfortunately, there are occasional individuals who come to the park to smoke weed, which can create an uncomfortable environment for families. It’s definitely something to be mindful of, especially when your child is playing. For this reason, I tend to visit the park during quieter times when it's just us, ensuring a safer and more relaxed experience. Overall, Hero’s Park can be a wonderful place for kids, but I would recommend being cautious about timing your visits to avoid any unwanted disturbances.

My family's having an event and we came to check it this park since it close to the house. It has a lot more room than we imagined. It has 2 playgrounds for the kids and a huge field for soccer or football plus a huge pubic table are that's covered. There is a nice walking trail behind the field that's not too long. The fire station is next door provided any emergency

They need to keep this park better maintained. It's trash everywhere and the grass is always unkempt. My 2 year old loves it but I wish they would keep it cleaner

Today my boyfriend and I were jogging on the trail that is partially in the forest. We had just reached the second bridge (near the exit to the clearing) when we seen two animals that resembled cats but had a slender build with a longer tail than domestic cats. We sprinted away before we could really identify them but I do not suggest visiting the forest area of the park until it has been groomed and maintenanced accordingly. (A...

It's okay for walking the wooded half that is less than a quarter of a mile. Other than that, there are just wild fake "service dogs" not on leashes, so be careful. There is always a fake poodle "service dog" there, and the owner just talks on the phone while the dog runs wild and chases kids - no, it's never on a leash. Bringing my taser next time, we go back for some...
