This is place is wonderful! The staff are amazing, welcoming, knowledgeable, and really care about the guest’s experience. Some very interesting and unique Elvis history, artifacts, and a solid collection of displays, along with the owners having found and restored the ambulance Elvis was transported to the hospital in when he passed away. Elvis’s old dojo has been fully restored to look like it did in the 70s during his time there and it’s a very cool experience to be there. Also an awesome “tiger den” designed to look like a mini jungle room with the same furniture with remarkable attention to detail. The owners have done an amazing job with putting this together and make you feel welcome. They are also going to offer karate lessons and have a cool merch shop! The admission price is incredibly affordable and you get a lot of bang for your buck- we got a detailed two hour tour filled with information and great presentation for 14.99. Generally Elvis’s cousins are also there to meet and receive tours from. Definitely a must for Elvis fans and a great experience to check out while...
Read moreI waited a few days before submitting my review to reflect on the experience. I must say it was AWESOME. Billy and Patrick have a downright gem of a museum. From the moment we walked in we were more than impressed. From the well thought out design, to the walk thru tour, it is most definitely a must see for any Elvis fan. Billy gave us the tour, and you can tell he loves telling stories, especially those about Elvis. He has painstakingly researched each item displayed and can authenticate each piece. The Elvis ambulance at the end was an emotional piece to behold. Visit often as the museum keeps growing and the artifacts will change! Thank you Billy and Patrick and all the employees for such a great museum and tribute to Elvis...
Read moreI am an Elvis Fan. His life, his story is a great American story that we should ALL cherish and value. Itvis a small part, a valuable part of American history. Two men came together to save a small piece of that story. The DOJO. Those two men did a tremendous job of restoring this small piece of the story. They did an even better job of adding elements and layers such as the jungle room and much more. Life events have caused separation with these two men at this time. It is my hope that reconciliation in some form is possible. While that plays itself out as a community we have a mission. That Mission is to value and support the Dojo to maintain a small piece of history of this great American story...
