The Boardwalk — Restaurant in Memphis

I recently checked out The Board Walk, a new nightclub that’s been getting some buzz—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype.

First off, the patio area has no fans, which means if you’re visiting during the warmer months, be prepared to sweat. It was uncomfortably hot the night I went, and that definitely affected the experience.

The food was a mixed bag. It was well-seasoned (almost too seasoned), but the pricing was outrageous. I ordered 5 whole wings and fries and ended up paying $27—way overpriced for what I got.

Ordering drinks was another hassle. You have to wait in a separate line just for cocktails, which is inconvenient. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and was given a small 8 oz cup for $17.17—and I could barely taste any alcohol. Even sodas were overpriced at $3.83 for a 12 oz can—no ice, no straw, just the can.

Service was okay, but there was only one register, and it was locked. So if you’re paying cash, expect a delay while they search for the key to give you your change.

Honestly, with so many other clubs around—in much nicer areas, with better prices and better service—this just isn’t worth it. I’ll stick with my usual spots in Southaven, MS. Safer, friendlier, and definitely more bang...

First to Start Drinks were awesome! Food was okay food took too long for it to come out. The bartender Ash was Great she greeted me as soon we came in the door. A server name Lele was nice she made sure we were great at all times, she ended up being our waiter after we moved from the bar to a table. But I can honestly say the drink cups are way to small to be almost 20$ after everything is added on, it took them over 40+ minutes to get me a hookah due to I’m guessing for the manager having to get in cause she apparently had to get the product from the back. Happy hour was a lie they had on social media it ends at 8pm but it actually ends at 7pm! I was very disappointed at that due to it being False advertisement.
