If I could leave 0 stars i absolutely would. This place was terrible and would not recommend dealing with the property owner. We were just trying to find a hotel to stay at after a 12 hour drive and lack of sleep. Got treated disrespectfully multiple times for no reason whatsoever. We always check to see what hotels have a Pet friendly policy because we don’t wanna waste our time jumping hotel to hotel. Got kicked out not even 20 mins later due to a “no pet policy” that they claimed to have yet there was nothing posted on their website and we were not notified about when we first got the room. Was told we would not receive a refund even though we weren’t at the room for more than 30 mins. Very unprofessional staff and service provided. This experience was awful and never had any issues like this before. We were very upstanding towards the pet policy even though it wasn’t found anywhere, it was the matter of disrespect we received as well as not getting a refund. To add as well we paid a total of 130 for the room yet after the fact got charged a total of 180 for absolutely no reason. Thankfully after reaching out to IHG we were able to receive the money back after multiple calls but would not recommend this place to anyone. Property owner was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional and made things into a competition randomly ? Seemingly very insecure by bringing up the fact he owns “multiple businesses” and claiming he had more than us. I would highly recommend taking pictures of all documentation if you choose to stay here. They like to make claims that aren’t true whatsoever to make it end up back on you. This situation was very unfortunate and unprofessional overall. (Edit: As I stated above we understood about the policy after being told. It was no where posted and we were NOT notified at all. Read moreI booked my room through a 3rd party because they offered a lower rate and I prepaid my room. My receipt confirms 2 queen beds. Upon check-in we were given a room with 1 king even though I showed them my confirmation. The front desk clerk who was very nice said they should not have confirmed 2 queens, that the property gets to decide. We took the elevator to the 2nd floor where the smell of carpet powder was overpowering. The ceramic floors in the room had some sort of wax or soap coating, I was sliding across them in my runners. And the bed sheets were dirty. We actually felt we had to check the room for bed bugs we had such a bad feeling. The ice machine on our floor was out of order. The hallway carpets had huge worn bald spots as well as huge bleach stains. The entire hotel is rundown. The breakfast was limited but good enough. The one and only garbage bin in the dining room was overflowing and nobody bothered to empty it. Guests had to just keep adding to the pile and hope nothing fell. After checking out, the hotel charged by credit card for the room that I had already prepaid to the 3rd party. When I called them, a rude AGM told me the 3rd party's credit card had been declined and that I had to call them and request that they provide a new one and they would reverse the charge. I immediately contacted them and they reached out to the hotel while I waited on the line. They assured me that they provided them with a phone number to contact regarding payment and would reverse the charges on my credit card. 10 days later and the charge has not been reversed. I've stayed at many IHG hotels and this is by far the worse experience I ever had and I 100% do not recommend staying at this hotel. Read morePower outages 2 times in less than a week. Employees don't do their jobs. They act like you as a customer is a bother to them. The elevator does not work and the manager didn't try to get it fixed so if you have a room on the 4th floor you have to use the stairs. The floors are dirty and they don't clean your room when they are supposed to. They let people who don't stay here in to use the pool. They over charged me for my rooms from what IHG reservation had told me. They give a customers room to someone else and give them a key for the room that room and woke up the people who occupied the room they were supposed to have. Went back to hotel desk and they had to give them 2 Other separate rooms. This is a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 children. They walk into their new rooms and said they found roaches in their room and checked out immediately. I have spent a lot of time in and out of Holiday inn express throughout the year and I am not happy with the problems I have seen with the hotels Franchise. I have tried time after time to look past the uncleanness of the hotels but have found out that Holiday inn has dropped the ball on making their sites are kept up to good house keeping standards. I am a platinum Elite member and I have almost 300 thousand points built up with Holiday inn. I am ready to give them back their points and find another hotel chain to do business with. Because if this is the way their going to continue I will not do business with them and I will not recommend them to anyone. This is a serious problem.
