Viet Hoa Market — Attraction in Memphis

I am officially done with this market, I have been going to this place for over 4 years now and no matter what I do or say or dress or act I'm constantly reminded that I'm not really wanted in the store. I work for the Shelby County criminal justice but you cant tell by the way I look youre not supposed to, however I don't carry myself any less than what I was raised to be. My children had to watch thier mother try not to cry in the car on the way home because simply looking for a bottle of chili sauce for my daughter somehow out of everyone else in the store the elderly security guard had to follow me and my my daughter around like we somehow had I guess expanding pockets under our skin. Im tired of this and my tolerance and turning the other cheek is over, I rather go to Amazon and buy what I need or the funny thing now is kroger has it for much cheaper than 10.00, than shop from this store any longer. Big and clean Asian market, but the food price were not very much different from the smaller scale Asian market in my state. I live 2.5 hours away from that store and I brought an icebox to keep my food cool. The guys at the seafood market were not helpful at all. When my husband went there the first time, one worker said they were out of ice. I checked with the cashier who were checking us out and he gave me 2 sacks and suggested me to try again. I went there again along with the fish I bought. At first he gave me a tiny bit of ice. I told him that I live really far away and suggested that I needed more, he gave me a bad look and added some more ice. I spent close to $170 at the store, but I probably will not go back if I visit Memphis agin. Also they no longer provide any cooked food such as steamed buns and roasted duck that they used to offer. Rude, rude, rude cashier.......was almost pleased with the reopening of this business. Bad customer service can close any door. I hope this location doesn't make the same mistake twice and take their customer base for granted.

Cashier entered the wrong price. I asked her to check the price. Had to repeat because she just ignored request and closed my ticket. It was confirmed that she entered the wrong price so I wanted to buy product. Well, because ticket was closed out and item was under ten dollars I was not allowed to purchase.

No problem! How about we just void previous ticket and I take business else where.
