Never actually stopped to hang out in the park, just bike through it many times a week, but aesthetically it's very pleasing.
My only warning, mostly for cyclists, is occasionally I'm the summer, bored neighborhood teens will post un on the overlook above the I-90 tunnel and throw water balloons at you as you bike out.
