Sano Cafe — Restaurant in Mercer Island

Tried this place out and the wait time was the equivalent of sitting at an actual restaurant. When I walked in there was literally not a single customer there. I'm thinking the order was botched because 10+ people came in after me for non online orders and got their stuff before I did even though some ordered the same thing I did at the counter. All in all 20+ minutes later I had somewhere else to be and I couldn't take it to go so I asked for a refund and their system crashed in the process. It was an adventure for sure. Terrible start to a Sunday morning. I will say the staff there was very polite and professional at least so there was a bright spot. Still hoping Chick Fila finally opens their doors 7 days a week...

Iv been going to the Mercer island location for years when I needed my açaí fix! I deff don’t think they are up-to my standers hence I lived in Hawaii && nothing can beat those bowls! But Mercer island location always held me over until I went back to visit! As Iv moved back home! I feel the granola is just not enough and on one of the bowls they say mango, but don’t mention it’s blended in.

I do love their salads and smoothies everything is so organic and fresh appreciate them expanding still prefer the one a little far there for the atmosphere! But excited about being closer to where I walk regularly!

OH MY GOD THEY DON’T HAVE...

I come here a couple times a month for what I always hope is a quick smoothie… and it never is. Not a single other person waiting on an order and I waited 15+ minutes for one smoothie. A guy came in shortly after me and ordered avocado toast. He got his order and nearly finished it before the smoothie was done. This is the third or fourth time I’ve had a similar experience, so I won’t be returning. Plus $11 for kale, spinach and some berries is wild. Service is usually pretty lame, folks at the register seem annoyed to take your order. Do yourself a favor and avoid this letdown unless you have an exorbitant amount of time...
