Aradia's Treasure Metaphysical Shop — Attraction in Merchantville

I was excited to visit this shop for the first time. That excitement diminished in less than 60 seconds due to the low energy, ignorance and complete lack of decency by the employee. Her character, attitude and rudeness is a complete contradiction to the foundation in which these types of shops are built upon. I genuinely hope the owner (who knew her staff was in the wrong) holds this individual accountable for her behavior and lack of apology. Unfortunately, I will never know because this was my 1st and last time visiting this establishment and I will be sure to share with my groups and communities to avoid this low vibrational energy at all costs. There are other shops in the area with a far better atmosphere, seek them out or enter here with a protective arsenal and a serious cleanse after exiting. Shameful…

REPLY ::: If your employee was on the floor instead of in the back room she would of seen in the first 1 min of me coming in and turning towards the left i was placing my phone, car keys and vape into my book bag. She completely jumped the gun and assumed i was stealing when I clearly was not. I also approached her and when she stated what her issue was with her disgusting attitude and facial expression, out of shock i dropped instantly to the floor and dumped my whole bag out , your employee barely even looked to see if indeed i stole anything , as if her mind was already made up. I started crying and apologized when really i had NOTHING to apologize for bc you’re employee was totally in the wrong . Yes you did come to check out the situation i had tears running down my face, we discussed the herbs & you had zero compassion up until you were about to walk away to get the bundle together & i once again broke into tears like a child bc my feelings were so hurt and i yet still didn’t get an apology and was left feeling as if i was a “thief” when i wasn’t. THEN, was when you broke character and showed me compassion. And you’re right i did spend $100, i was so hurt and distraught that i didn’t wanna go anywhere but straight home, so i decided let me just get what i need and I’ll never come back. I regretted it bc you didn’t deserve my money . You were only “compassionate” when literally was crying I still did not get an apology and more of “oh it’s okay dear it’s not a big deal. “ When really it was (it took a negative google review for you to finally apologize). You and your shop and your employees are a disgrace to this community . I’ve also had quite a few friends tell me that they too have had bad experiences there after i shared them my story, so rudeness and bad energy is a common theme . Im glad you restated your stores policies but her thirst for unjustified conflict is something that potential customers should be aware of. So I still stand by my review . This is going to be a long review but bear with me I want to cover everything. First I want to touch on the negative reviews from other people in regards to being "watched" in the store. Once I walked in she did come out of the back and she seemed to work within just a few feet of me while I browsed around the store. This doesn't bother me. For one, I'm not guilty of anything and for two, I understand nowadays most people do not have respect for other people's property and a lot of theft does occur especially with such small items that are carried in these type of stores. There was no harassment and I certainly didnt feel uncomfortable at all. But it was noticed, and I can see how people may be turned off by that.

I absolutely loved the products that she carried especially the books. In today's day the witch aesthetic has been such a trend that you can find crystals, books and sage in places like five below, but it's all esthetic with no true value. She carried much more than your basic "witch" items. From the different types of washes to the books and the selection of jewelry, tarot cards, oils and pendulums. It was all lovely.

My reason for only four stars; while there was a wonderful selection of crystals and Stones I feel like some might be mislabeled or even with an incorrect name all together. There was one stone that I was looking at and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why I did not know what the stone was. I never heard of it before. I'm certainly not a crystal connoisseur but I like to believe I know most of the crystals and Stones out there. I took the time to Google the name of this Stone and Google corrected it to what it was supposed to be called. So somebody must have gotten confused and botched the name. There were a few other groups of stones that looked nothing like what I'm familiar with but again maybe I just haven't seen every possible stone in the world. I'm no expert so aside from the botched name on the one group of stones I can't confirm that anything else was inaccurate.

I do wish the store had an on-site reader either for tarot cards or a psychic medium or something. But that had absolutely no influence in my rating. I liked the products the store itself had a very neutral vibe it wasn't super calming we're angelic but it certainly did not give off any bad energy to me. The prices were within reason the candles were a little bit more expensive than what I'm used to but only buy a couple of dollars.

Visited this establishment over 3 weeks ago. I couldn't really find what I wanted as far as the kind of bracelet I was looking for, so the owner offered to make me one. I gave her a description of the kind of thing I was looking for and she asked me why I didnt just buy it on line. I said I'd rather give her my business. We agreed she would then make a bracelet for me. I later emailed her a link shower her what kind of stones I'd like incorporated in it, and if it's possible to do. She replies that" that bracelet, is beautiful, you should definitely buy it". Now. It's quite obvious she isn't interested in working with me. I explain that I was just showing her what a liked and wanted her input. If she dies not feel comfortable working with me, please say so, and I'll take my business elsewhere. She said no. She has no problem working with me at all and that she would have to order some of the stones. I have called her since the last email and she has yet to return my calls or answer an e mail. Sad, because I was honestly looking forward to the bracelet. After reading all the positive reviews I thought I too would have a positive experience. This was not the case.

UPDATE 3/3/19: The owner has gotten back to me and finished a gorgeous bracelet for me. Even wrote the stone meanings down for me. I live it!! Thank you very much.
