I never leave reviews at all, but my experience was quite frustrating so im going to leave my first google review ever. I cant complain about their services or facilities while I was actively using my membership.
Where there became issues was when I froze my account as I was going to be out of town for over a month. I paid the fee to freeze it, and when asked for when I would be wanting to unfreeze my membership, I did not give a date as I was not sure of when or if I was going to start going again after my trip. I simply wanted to freeze it and not pay until I decided to start going again if I so decided.
Fast forward about a month, and I was charged my normal full monthly bill for some reason. When I realized I had been charged, I was surprised because I had had no communication with them nor had I planned to unfreeze my account. I called them to address the issue and was informed that the freeze was only for 30 days - even though I had never given them a date to unfreeze it, and they confirmed the paperwork that stated 30 days on it was never signed by me. I was a bit annoyed by their unwillingness to refund the unexpected charge and told them I better just cancel then. Then they informed me that I would have to pay for the following month as well if I were to cancel. After voicing my disagreement with not only the first charge but then a future charge as well, with no change in their stance, I relented to say ok ill just cancel and pay the almost 600 dollars for 2 months of service I hadn't and wouldnt be using. I also voiced that I think they should figure out a better way to handle freezes so that other customers dont have to pay unnecessary charges like I am about to do, but this still fell on deaf ears with the employee simply stating theyd be sending me the cancelation forms in an email.
If someone put 30 days on my freeze paperwork, that was not what I had communicated at any point, and I dont believe I should have to pay for that mistake. I reluctantly agreed to both of these charges so I could be done with this membership cleanly, but the fact that they couldnt take any responsibility or acknowledge the need to fix the process for future customers was where I was actually quite frustrated.
I am a very amenable individual, and I do not cause issues with establishments - like ever. This seems to be a situation that was not handled appropriately, but I am the one paying for it, which I dont think is the best way to conduct business. Once again, I had a good experience up until all...
Read moreAbsolute home run! We just moved back to the states from Japan & Europe (8 years spent overseas) and we really missed having a spa day at the sauna. We were pleasantly surprised when we found this place that offers private saunas and cold plunge baths!!
We booked a reservation online and were able to get a booking for the following morning. The price seemed a bit high but I could honestly say that it was worth it. The lady that checked us in was so knowledgeable and explained the whole process to us and gave us a walkthrough of the building. It was nice to have everything explained as we have never done a cold plunge before and appreciated the information and advice for first timers.
The room we were given was so nice and accommodating for us! You have your own private sauna, shower and cold plunge bath. The shower has a vitamin C filter that gives your hair and body some much needed vitamins!!
Each room has its own tv and you can connect your streaming services if you want to. We opted to leave it on the YouTube channel that was on when we arrived. It was a coastal relaxation channel and it was perfect. There are some speakers are inside the sauna so you have no issues hearing the sound.
They have some free amenities to include towels, hair ties, deodorant, makeup wipes, shower toiletries and more. There is a separate area to dry and style your hair (and they have Dyson products). You can also enjoy the water station. They have still or sparkling water that you can add flavoring to your beverage. Luckily I brought my own hydro flask tumbler so I was able to fill it up while we were there! So awesome!
Honestly, we left there feeling so relaxed and already purchased another package to return again. If you are considering visiting, I highly recommend it. We really enjoyed ourselves and felt so much better after...

Customer service is a whole different story. I've been a customer of the Sweathouz brand since 2019, when I was still living in Atlanta. This location has zero awareness to customer experience. The first time I came, it was fine but then again it was a discounted rate. The second time I came to this location AND brought my sister-in-law, the young girls kept knocking on my door when I had time very visibly on the timer. I was in the shower and the knocking got louder and louder so I open the door and this girl says, verbatim "Your session is over. You need to leave." To which I replied, no, there's literally 2.5 minutes left and I have conditioner in my hair. And she proceeds to step into the room, door wide open while I'm in only a towel. There was no apology, no nothing. I left aggravated even though I come herr to relax.
Next, I called on a Saturday. Verily, Saturday midday be a busy day. I called three times, left a voicemail requesting an appointment on the fourth call and never received a call back.
Now I'm sitting in the sauna and listening to someone else's music booming pver my relaxation time. I texted the staff 20 minutes ago with no reply and no change to the environment. I come here to relax. I pay a drop-in fee of $65 to relax and they can't even provide a bit of peace. It all comes down to monitoring the environment and providing a good service, which this team seems completely...
