Back on 3/13 I went to the AZ Brow Dr. My artist was Rema. I expressed to her exactly what I wanted and DID NOT want. I showed her how I did my eyebrows. We agreed on ombre vs regular microblading. I specifically told her, I do not want one solid brow, I hate that look. Ombre fades from light to dark, hence the word ombre. Anyways, she proceeded to draw on my eyebrows and I told her they were wayyy to big, she literally said "well I am trying to give you brows, is that not what you want?" rude. I said this is way above my natural line. So I finally got her to redraw them, we proceeded with the procedure. She started outlining without any numbing cream. I told her to please put some on but she didn't until after she outlined both of my brows. I was in so much pain I couldn't open my eyes because they were so watery. After a bit, I asked to see them, she giggled and said no. Finally after a little while later, I asked again and she showed me. I looked at them and they were two different shapes and ONE SOLID COLOR. I expressed to her my concerns and she said it'd fade out, it's a process. Fine. I paid and left. During the two weeks, she was rude to me when I asked questions and told me to just use goggle to get answers. Currently, they are still one solid color. I reached out to her and told her I still hate them, you gave me exactly what I told you I did not want. I gave it time to play out but they are still the same. This is nowhere near ombre. She basically called told me they dont do refunds, called me impatient and thinks just because it looks good to her, that I should be fine with it and pushed me off to a diff artist. She then gave Lindsay my contact but I don't understand why if Rema was my artist. It has been 24hrs since and I’m obviously being ignored. I checked back in with Rema today @10am and still have not had a response from either. All I want is my 450 back. I paid for ombré and that was not what I received. If I wanted a solid color brow, I could've just went to a regular tattoo shop and asked for sharpie eyebrows. Now I have to pay about 200+ just for one session to get it removed. I think its highly disturbing that Rema offers a service she has no experience in. Yes,she may have 3 years in microblading but that doesnt mean she knows how to do ombre. Just because you can do lip fillers doesnt mean you should do a rhinoplasty. DIFFERENT AREAS is my point. Her business clearly shows she is just money hungry and does not care about her clients. She can easily issue the refund. I mean she went on a nice vacation the same week as my appointment. Given that I’m being ignored shows that even the owner Lindsay is in on this. Again, money hungry. Since this incident I’ve heard many things about AZBrowDoctor. They’re basically not who everyone thinks they are.
Updated review:Lindsay, I think anyone with botched SEMI-PERMANENT brows would be angry but u obviously have no empathy since it's not on ur face. Not sure why ur trying to state its important for the pics when its literally an OPTION to the client. Now, trying to accuse me is just so low for a business owner to say. I drove from Phoenix to Mesa during traffic hour and paid $450!These pictures weren't altered. This is what Rema gave me but neither party wants to take responsibility for bad service and instead wants to blame the client. I hope future clients...
Read moreI hate writing bad reviews and usually just let things go, but I do not want anyone to be hurt like I am. I had my eyebrows done in AZ brow doctor over a year ago and the esthetician went way too high above my natural brow line so it looks terrible. So I hoped that as I was told microblading will mostly fade in a year if you do not follow aftercare instructions. So, i was under the sun a lot, steam room, sauna, etc. But I still have it, because it is not microblading, it is a permanent tattoo!!! I had 2 removal session already, one with chemical remover and one with Picosure laser, 200$ each and the ink is still there! See photo attached after 2 removal sessions. It will take me over a year to get them HOPEFULLY removed because you have to make 2-month gaps in between each session. After the removal your brows look so bad, the first time they turned red. If the right ink color was used originally they wouldn’t! You can’t make them wet, use makeup, wash your face, go to the pool and do a lot of things after each removal session for 2-3 weeks. I was told later by the real permanent makeup artist that Microblading is an extremely old Asian technique and it is banned in some states. He said I am lucky I did not get an infection. Microblading is meant to be for think Asian skin type originally. Please do not do microblading and if you decided that it is something you want to make sure they do not go way far above your natural brow hair, overwise it will look really bad. It is extremely hard to make permanent makeup look natural and, mostly only people who are amazingly good in drawing and were practicing it for a few years can do a good job. There is so much more new beautiful permanent make up...
Read moreI had to book about a month and a half in advance for my Saturday appointment, but it was 100% WORTH IT. I booked ombré brows with Taylor who is so unbelievably talented and really took her time to make sure my brows came out absolutely perfect. She sat down and talked with me a bit about what I was looking for, and after that conversation she advised me that combo brows sounded much more like what I wanted so we did that instead. I cannot express in words how happy I am with how they came out. I fall in love over and over again every time I look in the mirror! The one thing I will say that I wish I had known ahead of time is that they do not apply the numbing cream until after they do the outline of your brows with a tool that’s similar to a small tattoo gun. It was explained to me that the reason for this is the numbing cream would smudge the pencil/marker design that was drawn onto your face and thus the outline wouldn’t come out nearly as crisp. Doing the outline with no cream was a bit uncomfortable, but nothing unmanageable and the gorgeous look of my brows definitely made it worth it. This place is hands down the best, cleanest, and safest place to get your brows done in the valley and I would recommend them...
